Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech in:
  • Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication / Communication
  • Electrical / Electrical & Electronics
  • Computer Science / IT / Information Science
• Must be from a recognized university with Pass Class.
• Provisional/Final degree certificate required with class & percentage.

Age Limit (as on May 1, 2025)

• Upper age limit: 32 years (General)
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years + category-wise relaxation

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification industrial experience.
• Preference for experience in:
  • IP Networking
  • IT Infrastructure & Data Center Projects
  • IoT, CCTV, and Electronic Product Support
• Note: Academic/research/internship experience not considered. One-year apprenticeship training will be considered.

Salary and Benefits for BEL Project Engineer-I

Project Engineer-I personnel will be engaged initially for three years, which may be extended up to a maximum of one additional year (total 4 years) based on project requirements and individual performance. The consolidated remuneration and benefits are as follows:

Additional Benefits Payable:

1. Area Allowance: 10% of the consolidated remuneration per month. 
2. Annual Allowance: Rs. 12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear charges, etc. 

Retention Bonus:

Project Engineers who join as Project Engineer-I and complete an overall tenure of 4 years will be entitled to a Retention Bonus of Rs. 25,000/- for every completed year.1 This total amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be payable at the end of the 4-year tenure. 

Selected candidates are also required to be covered under a medical insurance scheme (Rs. 2 Lakhs per annum) and a life cover scheme (Rs. 5 Lakhs per annum) at the time of joining.
