    Great for intended use
So far its been great for intended use of Internet and gaming. Runs most game apps fine except for large scale pc based games so not technically a gaming tablet but streams fine as well. Sturdy built. Great screen. Great sound. For under 150$ at time of purchase on sale, great little tablet.

No need to look further. Awesome Tablet
This Acer is awesome! There is no need for an ipad with proprietary restrictions and limited apps. This is all you need to do any and everything you want to do. Thank you!

It’s NOT top of the line…… but it’s a pretty nice little tablet!
At this price, with these hardware specs (and older version of Android), this is NOT a top of the line tablet… and while setting it up, I was ready to really dislike it. I had a few false starts on setup, some really long pauses during installs of various components, and other burps and hiccups…… and then, once I actually began to USE the tablet for what I wanted (web browsing, light gaming, social media) I found that it was really quite decent. Granted, you get into anything super RAM needy, or high res streaming video, and you might end up with some burps– but for the nice “gentle” tablet uses, it does GREAT!I play games like Candy Crush, Angry BIrds, etc…… nothing like GTA or CPU/Console games (they’d likely kill this unit, LOL). My games, however, run really smoothly– no problems. Honestly, I haven’t really had any issues other than the occasional “I’m older tech, please bear with me” type of thing. If this is looking good to you, with all its specs (or lack thereof) and price, go for it. The only thing I’m not thrilled about is the older version of Android.

    Very good tablet
The 6gb RAM makes a huge difference and, for the price, it’s surprising this tablet isn’t more popular. It runs circles around other tablets I’ve had. Netflix and Hulu content is smooth.

    An Average Tablet
I’ve spent a few months using this tablet daily and I feel I’ve now had enough time to share my thoughts on it. It definitely has its pros and cons. For $200, it’s a decent tablet if you’re looking for screen size and/or a bit more RAM. However, this tablet is far from perfect and its shortcomings soon manifest after spending enough time with it.The Good: The screen on this thing is beautiful. The image is crystal clear and colars are fairly vibrant. The bezels aren’t the smallest, however, they’re small enough to not be an issue. The other thing I really like is the amount of RAM you get. Most tablets in this range normally only have about 4 GB of RAM. This tablet has 6 GB of RAM which will suit most people’s needs nicely. I’ve had upwards of 60 tabs opened in firefox before and have played various graphics intensive games without issue (CPU speed = 2.00Hz.) The 128 GB of onboard storage and expandable SD card slot will leave you with plenty of space for your media library and large apps. The tablet is also mostly stock Android without a lot of bloatware from Acer which is always a plus. The dual speakers provide decent volume when not using headphones or earbuds. This model also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack which is always a plus in my book. The price is also a major highlight of this tablet. A $200 tablet that gives you a 10.1″ screen and 6 GB of RAM is pretty uncommon. Most tablets of this ilk usually only have 7″ screens and anywhere from 2-4 GB of RAM.The Bad: Although the screen size can be considered one of this unit’s strengths, it’s also one of its weakness. From day one, the screen wasn’t very responsive and I found myself having to press it pretty hard and sometimes multiple times to register taps. I was originally thinking that maybe it was just a fluke, however the problem seems to be intensifying. Sometimes it gets so bad that the tablet is almost unusable. I’ll be doing something on the tablet and it’ll suddenly start wigging out and pressing randomly all over the screen. This occurs while the unit is both charging and not charging. This one issue is almost serious enough to negate all the positives. I’m currently still researching what may be causing it and how to potentially fix it. Another big let down was the battery life. With a bigger tablet comes a bigger battery, but the tablet’s 10″ screen will zap your battery to zero in no time. Spending a few hours streaming media or gaming saw me get on average about 6 hours of screen on time from a 100% charge. That’s not necessarily terrible for a device with a screen this size, however, I’ve found myself not straying too far away from a power source when using it heavily. I also don’t like that goggle tries to shove it’s assistant down your throat. I’m a minimalist and only like the apps I use to be on my home screen. Google tries it’s best to thrawt this by programming the Google assistant icon to be perpetually visible on the home screen with no way to remove it. The only workaround I’ve found without having to root the device is using a launcher to replace the stock one. The tablet comes preinstalled with a highly annoying, uninstallable memory managing app called “DuraSpeed.” You’ll get a litany of annoying, daily notifications from this app that can’t be disabled or turned off.All in all, despite the pretty serious ghost tapping issue that seems to occur at random, intermittent times, I still think I would recommend this tablet. For the price and the amount of screen and RAM you get, I’m willing to put up with the ghost tapping issue and slightly subpar battery life for now. If you’re in the market for something cheap that gets the job done, go for it. However, of you’re expecting perfection, look elsewhere.

It would not load playstore. Beautiful tablet. Fantastic graphics and comes with a protective cover but for what ever reason couldn’t load playstore and therefore had to return it. I think it was a fluke as I have other Acer products and no issues. Shame. Thanks to Amazon for thier customer support trying to help me fix the issue.
