It is worth the money
Everything works great. The flashlight has a few settings, and when you lift up the solar panel there’s another light.the radio has AM and FM along with Web band. I pushed a button on the side and scared myself when the siren and flashing lights came on….lol my Son and husband want one for their cars..

Good size and features for emergencies
There are many available products of this type on Amazon, with a wide range of review ratings. This particular one seems to have been a good choice for us. Going over each feature: there are 3 LED bulbs at the front, one round between two rectangular ones, with the round one called “long range” and the others “wide,” and you can turn on one, or two, or all three (but the “long range” one is not like a flashlight and is really only for the nearby area); under the small solar panel on top is a nice bright rectangular LED panel “for reading” or general light; the radio picks up the weather channel in the area, but like other weather radios, the sound is not very good (not the radio’s fault, I think), plus AM and FM, but the sound quality will not replace your earphones or portable speaker; the lights flash when the emergency siren is activated (great feature); there is a manual power crank (and the miniature solar panel) in case the batteries run out; and multiple power connections (in and out). The lithium batteries are rechargeable and replaceable, and total 4000 mAh. Overall, more than I was looking for when I browsed Amazon for an emergency light for the car, and still for a very good price. Here’s hoping that we never need to use it!

Great emergency radio
I think this radio is of good quality for its size and price. The flashlight and extra LED light on top work well and are bright. The alarm, is loud enough that I think it would be noticed in an emergency. The quality of sound from the radio is decent and the antenna allows for great reception amd good sound and clarity from many stations. I keep mine charging in the window. There are ports that allow for USB charging with the included cable. There is also a handcrank in the back in case of an emergency. This is great to have for an emergency and I use it every day for the weather and ocean reports in my area.

Replaceable 18650 Li-Ion
Excellent emergency radio. The 18650 Li-Ion replaceable batteries was a key feature for me. This unit came with 2 fresh ones that I will be able to test, replace or recharge when needed. This pack gives a significant amount of power (4000mAh compared to the 600mAh of the Kaito 500 for example ).The batteries came 75% charged and the unit started solar charging right out of the box just with the ambient light.All features are functioning as expected. The unit is compact and feels solid.Solar and crank are great additions that feel reassuring in case you would be exposed to very long term outages and, of course, theyâll always be better than nothing.Nevertheless, donât have to high expectations with the integrated solar panel.(And i still think itâs a great feature to have)These small integrated solar panels on all this type of radios (or power banks) have limited capabilities even in the best conditions . You should not count on the solar panel to recharge your unit 100% and whatever amount of charge youâll manage to capture will take a long time .The realistic way to recharge this type of units via solar is with an external panel.The removable batteries option is a big plus since you can replace them, but also test and charge them in a separate charger.Cranking is a good extra way of charging for extreme situations (depleted batteries, no spare, no extra power bank, zero sun).Otherwise this unit can be charged via usb and wall outlet or power bank or (after removing the batteries) with a charger compatible with 18650, for maintenance or when preparing for a coming weather event.In the front, there are 4 blue leds for state of charge indicator (25/50/75/100%), a red led for charging indicator and a green one when the radio tuning is good.Iâve tested charging phone, iPad and iPod, all good.The sound is loud and crisp. Excellent AM/FM/WB reception (Urban area). The lights (Flash and reading) are super bright. The motion sensor feature on the reading light is genius.The sos alarm seems unnecessary but itâs very loud and works.The iPad/iPhone adapter is a very clever addition.I donât see how you could be completely out of power (ever) with this unit.On the whole an excellent unit for this price, I recommend.

Very good radio battery charges quick on the mains and the wind up function for when out camping is brilliant can charge your phone to which is good also has a solar panel which actively charges the radio too this is brilliant if you love to wake up in a tent in the morning when making you coffeee round a fire listening to some music ðð ohh and it’s definitely loud and clear

Received today. Much better quality than I was expecting. Sound quality from FM radio is very good. AM radio is ok (but it is AM so not expecting much). All the features you’d expect from this – torch, emergency alarm, various options to charge – plug-in, solar, hand-crank, battery. Thoroughly recommend
