Having so much fun wit my Panini.
So far itâs been a real joy. I have yet to male panini, but Jae grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and they have turned out very well. It cooks very fast and cleans up fair. The price was more then fail, a real bargain. The cooking area is.rather small but you can cook with the grill open or closed, giving you more cooking area. The one thing I donât like is that the grills are not removable, s feature that would make cleaning much easier. The thing that really amezes me is the versiatily that I can envision : eggs and bacon, hash browns and so much more. I can hardly wait for my cookboook so that I can get on with my Panini journey. One more thing, the grill is very light and that helps to make it a joy to cook with.

Genius! Def a great bang for your buck!
This Panini press is a 2 in 1 & doubles as a grill and its ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!! It heats up within a few minutes, you can adjust the lid to lay flat with the click of a button and BAM you now have two grill plates! You cant really control the temperature but it there is a light indicator for when it is hot enough.I loved how easy it was to clean & there is a slot in the back that collects the debris that you wipe off. Its small, compact & easy to set up! Iâve made plenty of meals under 20 minutes using just this! 10|10 would recommend for anyone trying to get a bang for their buck!!

Makes the best burritos and sandwiches
I like how fast it heats up. Make the best burritos and sandwiches now.Gave it a 4 start because it is hard to press it down without the food wanting to push out. Kind of hard to clean as well. But overall it was a great purchase.

Some limitations but overall happy.
It has been several months past the purchase; the item is still holding well. We use it almost daily to make vegetarian Panini sandwiches. Power ON upon plug in feature without a switch is somewhat bothersome. Thick sandwiches slide out upon closing the lid top ( The lid top is burning hot at this point). I use insulated gloves on my hand and manually raise the lid top and push the sandwich deep into the grill before closing it to compress the sandwich. Automatic raising feature is lacking in this product. Heat comes on pretty quick. which we like. Stays hot for a while even after turning it off. A timer feature is lacking too. We use the timer on our microwave unit & that is no big deal. There is no Switch to turn off the unit. We simply unplug the unit ahead of time & let the sandwich cook in the latent heat for few more minutes or till the unit totally cooled off on it own. We wrap the sandwich in Parchment paper and insert into the grill to avoid spill and for ease of cleaning. Sandwich cooks well even with the parchment paper around it. Nothing seen in the drip tray. So in summary, despite its few limitations, we are overall happy with the product.

Itâs too small and the cord is too short
I got tempted and ordered a âused like newâ item and had a huge disappointment. Not only it came dirty, with food grease all over it, one of its little plastic legs that flip out to level the surface was broken off and loose. Also the green âreadyâ light never worked for me.Now, the product itself is easy to use and works well, but itâs so small that it can only fit one sandwich. The cord is also too short. I am returning it.

Great for quick, easy lunch or dinner.
After reading the reviews I decided to gamble on this little sandwich maker… and I’m glad I did. This little machine has given me a way to make quick and easy lunch or dinner sandwiches for myself. It is small and only fits one sandwich, but that’s all I need! It also does not have a temperature control or on/off button. The temperature control has not been an issue with me as it seems to be the perfect temperature for all my sandwich creations. I have not had a sandwich burn yet. The absence of a power button is a bit of a downer, but it is simple enough to just unplug it as soon as I am done making my sandwich. It has a button at the hinge that allows you to open it all the way up flat, which is nice. I haven’t used it that way but look forward to trying it out. As for cleaning… whilie it is still warm I use a wet paper towel with dish soap on it to wipe it thoroughly in the grooves and it cleans up nicely. My husband is on a special diet so this helps me a great deal with meals for one. It’s not a high-end sandwich press but it does what I need it to do. It’s small size makes it easy to store.

“The Chefman Electric Panini Press Grill has quickly become a kitchen favorite in my home! This versatile appliance is ideal for making delicious paninis, gourmet sandwiches, and even grilling vegetables. The non-stick coated plates are a standout featureâthey make cleaning a breeze and ensure that nothing sticks, so your sandwiches come out perfectly every time. The press heats up quickly and evenly, giving a fantastic crispy exterior while keeping the inside deliciously warm. I especially love how it opens flat, allowing me to use it as a grill for various foods. The adjustable temperature control is a nice touch, providing flexibility for different types of sandwiches and grilling needs. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, and the compact design fits nicely on my countertop without taking up too much space. Whether you’re a fan of classic paninis or want to experiment with different types of sandwiches and grilled items, this press delivers exceptional results. Itâs a fantastic addition to any kitchen. Highly recommend for anyone who loves making gourmet sandwiches at home!”

Loved this product. And especially the double grill as the lid can be put down and can be used as second grill.

Better than the one I bought previously

I didnât really care about the panini function, was buying it for the dual grill option because I wanted to do veggies. It doesnât really heat up quickly or retain heat very well so it took a really long time to cook through eggplant slices. Dual grill made it take even longer so it wasnât a great function – felt like I was using a lot of electricity and time for minimal payoff. The guide book says you could cook meat on it but personally I think itâs risky without a thermometer, and by the time it would cook inside it would likely be rubber on the outside. It also doesnât have a lot of room within, I put a corn cob on there and even with the hinge it wouldnât hold – I thought panini were bigger than that, but maybe just more squishy.Best thing about it was the storage aspect but I didnât really get to enjoy that sine I sent it back.
