Great for indoor/ not outside for us
We have many outdoor inflatable Christmas decorations, but got this for my son’s apartment. This is different, the ones for outside have an air pump that run all the time to keep them inflated. This is more like a beach ball, blow up and does not need a pump running to stay inflated.This has one part in the bottom you can add water to. Because we will use it inside, I am thinking something like rice would be safer (or sand, or something similar). The rest blows up, they suggest a pump, I agree. It is big, stands about 6 feet tall. There is a string of LED lights that runs up the center, illuminating the tree at night. It takes 3 “AA” batteries, and had a little on/ off button on the battery box. Battery box has a tiny screw that must be removed before putting batteries in.Quality appears good, it does warn on package that all inflated items lose air over time. While this is somewhat true, I hope not to have to add much air in the fee weeks a year we will use it. Appearance looks good, nice printing. The cost is reasonable, and without the need to be plugged in, it is very functional. Most important, it is quiet as does not require a pump to be running.I think this will work well inside. Outside, for us, water would freeze and tree would probably blow away (no way I saw to tie it down to the ground). For someone with a small fenced lawn, in a warmer climate would be nice outside. For us, nice inside, fun Christmas decoration.
