This is a Truly Excellent Bluetooth Receiver and is Extremely Easy to Use
This Bluetooth Receiver, Hi-Fi Wireless Audio Adapter, 1Mii Bluetooth 4.2 Adapter with 3D Surround aptX Low Latency for Home Music Streaming Stereo System (Upgraded Version with Power Adapter) is a truly excellent Bluetooth receiver.Formerly I had a computer attached to my Logitech Compact Speaker System Z320 for Notebooks which are excellent powered speakers (though they have been discontinued and you do not want to buy them now at the insanely high price dealers are asking).Because of certain aesthetics in our home, my wife wanted me to get rid of that computer and install a Bluetooth receiver in its place. (The speakers are in our foyer and she detested that a computer was installed there. I guess I can’t blame her. The computer really did look out of place.)So, in the spirit of “a happy wife is a happy life,” I ordered this Bluetooth receiver from Amazon the other day and I am very glad that I did.The sound produced from those speakers is at least the equal of what I heard via the computer and the ease of use, convenience, and aesthetics of having a Bluetooth receiver instead of a computer in our foyer is much more acceptable to her. This particular receiver has Bluetooth 4.2 plus AptX. Regarding sound quality over Bluetooth transmission at this time, that’s as good as it gets.Setup could not have been easier. I didn’t even look at the instructions (which are written in “Chinglish”) until after I had the unit up and running.I connect its power supply to a switched outlet. When I activate the outlet, this receiver turns on instantly.First pairing was almost instantaneous. (And, as with most other devices of this type, you only have to initially pair it one time. Then it “remembers” your connection.)And now the connection to my cell phone is automatic and occurs practically instantly.Reception is excellent, as good as with any other Bluetooth receiver I own (and I own quite a few of them). There are two “levels” of sound quality. When the large round LED shows blue, that is “regular” sound. When the “3D” button is pressed the LED glows green and the sound is enhanced. I have been using the 3D effect exclusively. To my ears, it sound better that way. (You, of course, may disagree.)Though I am currently using this particular Bluetooth receiver in our foyer with different powered computer speakers (Samson MediaOne M30 3″ Powered Studio Monitors (Pair) which sound much better than the Logitechs ([and are connected via AmazonBasics 2-Male to 2-Male RCA Audio Cable – 4 Feet, a capability that not all Bluetooth modules have]), it can be used with just about any audio system. It comes complete with cords enabling attachment to 3.5mm devices as well as to those, such as a receiver (any my amplified speakers), which have RCA connections. (I tried it temporarily with my ‘main’ sound system, which consists of, among other things, a Yamaha A-S701BL Natural Sound Integrated Stereo Amplifier (Black) ‘feeding’ a pair of Klipschorns, and it produced sound quality indistinguishable from the ‘higher-end’ AudioTech Bluetooth receiver I use in that system.)It has no internal battery; it operates via AC power only. Its power cord is such that it can be use in a car via the car’s powered USB port or with a ENERGIZER 120W Cup Inverter 12V DC cigarette lighter to 120V AC to power laptop notebook & more w/ 4 USB ports 2.1A shared compatible with iPad & more or a Car Charger Quick Charge 3.0 RAVPower 40W 3A Car Adapter with Dual QC USB Ports for iPhone X / 8 / 8 Plus, iPad Pro 2017, Google Pixel, Sumsung Galaxy Note 8 / S9 / S8 / S8 Plus / S7 and More. So while it has no battery, it can still be used almost anywhere. It can even be powered via one of those Anker 2nd-Gen Astro E5 High-Capacity 16750mAh 3A Portable External Battery Charger with PowerIQ Technology for iPhone, iPad, Nintendo Switch and More or similar. What more can I say? It is a superb piece of equipment and I like it very much (plus my wife is pleased too) and I give it my highest recommendation.Thank you for reading this.Lawrence H. Bulk

Works well, easy to install
Using with a two room Denon stereo receiver and stereo speakers which does not have modern ports. Now can stream music directly to the receiver from phone. Music quality seems OK so far though we hope to switch to B&W speakers soon which will help to more accurately discern how well the signal is getting translated. We are using Klipsch speakers that are better for loud rock than for classical etc.Installed cable into RCA ports white and red.

Decent Product for the Price
I purchased this product to be able to play mobile app music via my in home stereo system and more specifically for my patio sound system. Other than needing to supply my own double-ended RCA wire to connect between the 1Mii unit and the back of my Yamaha amp, the unit connected quickly and paired immediately. The sound quality via my Klipsch outdoor speakers is very good. My phone apps connect from 30â to the Bluetooth unit even when my triple pane glass patio doors and amp cabinet doors just inside those doors are closed. Very pleased

Works Perfectly
I use this device to wirelessly connect my iPhone to my high end analog receiver. It connects easily and flawlessly. The sound quality is as expected. The unit is good looking and inconspicuous. I didn’t use the provided cables, thought they probably would have worked fine. Instead, I had a set of high end gold plated RCA cables that I used, and they fit fine. Some people mentioned a tough fit for the RCAs, but I didn’t have any issues. Would definitely recommend.

Works well
This has helped us alot in a small Church. We have the sound board upstairs, so now when we want to play something through the speakers we can connect this to the sound board, connect via Bluetooth to it and voila! Donât have to keep running up and down the stairs. The sound quality is not 100% but it is pretty good for the purpose and time saving.

wonderful addition to an older hifi system !
Save that old setup!I had been on the edge of thinking it was time to say goodbye to my trusty Technics receiver due to a lack of BT connection. We play a lot of records and CD’s at our house, and love the sound of our current setup so the idea of losing my existing system, and replacing it with a bluetooth friendly stereo was not the route i wanted to go. But we were really wanting to add the ability to stream audio from our phones and laptops, so something had to change. This thing was a gamechanger. I’m sure super audio nerds will find something to fuss about, but honestly, for under $50, I find no issue. Plugs right into an empty RCA input (TV in my case), and i have it piggybacked off the receiver power supply, so turn the receiver on, and it’s on. I’m sure there are “nicer” units out there that do this, but i’d be hard pressed to find one as easy on the wallet that performs as well.Been using it for a few weeks now, and no issue. Have never experienced connectivity issues, range is what it needs to me, i can be anywhere in my house, and signal never drops or crackles. Pairing new devices is simple and straightforward. Just remember to turn off bluetooth on a previously paired phone before pairing a new device, this thing locks on like a beast and as soon as it’s on, it will, if possible immediately pair itself with the last device used. Nice for ease of use, a minor annoyance in a 2 phone household where we both like to stream to the stereo sometimes. There is a “3D sound” button, but connected my my setup, which includes Klipsh 5.1 speakers, all the button seems to do is make things louder and bassier, maybe it’s more dynamic with a simple 2 speaker setup, don’t know, don’t care, its unnecessary for my use case, and has no bearing on the primary function which is what I came for.TL:DR. Great little unit, wallet friendly, small form factor, zero connectivity issues, and clear sound, big win for keeping your older hifi kicking.

This device has two features that I really like. The first is the Bluetooth 5.1 Qualcomm chip, that provides a plethora of high quality audio codecs, including the wonderful AptX HD codec. The second – and I will bashfully admit this – is the 3D Surround feature. It really opens up the sound space, and makes my aging stereo perform like it just popped out of the box.Set up was a bit tricky, as I was trying to set up the unit to work with Alexa, and Alexa can be fussy. Asking Alexa to enter pairing mode got me no where. What worked was to first pair my phone with the B06+ device, then pair the Alexa app on my phone with the device. To do this you need to scroll down to the particular Alexa device you want to pair it with, and then tap (to select) that device. That opens a pairing screen, you get the B06+ into pairing mode, it shows up on the list, you select it, and hey presto! – you’re done. But it took me about half an hour to figure that out. While it’s very, very good, this isn’t the highest quality Bluetooth Bridge out there; if you demand the finest, you’ll want to look at the B06S+, the B06HD+ or the B06pro+, as those all support the superlative Sony LDAC codec. This wasn’t important to me, as I was linking the device with Alexa, where it is expected to live out its life; and Alexa is limited by an internal Bluetooth 4.2 and SBC codec which is pretty much on the opposite end of the scale in terms of quality. It’s still surprisingly good, but paying extra for a codec that my device could never use, didn’t make a lot of sense to me. It’s also true that the B06+ supports the 3D Surround chip, whilst the other devices I mentioned do not. So for me, the lack of LDAC support was no biggie, and the 3D Surround feature was a definite plus.A quick note on quality: everyone is agreed that the SBC codec that is hard wired into Alexa is poor, and audiophiles can readily detect the difference between SBC and higher quality codecs in blind testing. To give you a benchmark of what ‘poor’ sounds like, a high quality MP3 recording is in about the same ballpark as SBC. While unsuitable for audiophiles, SBC is still surprisingly good, and considered ‘good enough’ for a device not expected to perform at audiophile levels. Like Alexa. On the other hand, those same audiophiles could NOT detect the difference between the AptX HD codec and running hard copper lines. There’s a difference, and a scope can readily show it. But the difference is so minor that even audiophiles, working with the best audio equipment, couldn’t suss out the difference. So for me, with my tin ears, the lack of LDAC is not a biggie. AptX HD is good enough. In a refreshing change of direction, 1Mii, the maker of the device, included an actual 5 Volt plug in adapter! There’s been a trend away from doing this, and even Mii does not include adapters on their battery enabled devices intended for portable use. But they did include the power brick with this device, for which I was very grateful. They earned some points by doing that.Staying on the plus side, 1 Mii also earned points by including both a 3.5mm to RCA pair cable, and a power cable to run from the power brick to the bridge. My complaint is that, while having them is nice, they’re both very short. Another 3 or 6 feet of USB power cable would have made a big difference in terms of where I plugged the device in; right now it’s plugged into the back of the receiver, in a plug that is switched. Alexa will turn the receiver off for me; but as soon as I do that the bridge will lose power, and Alexa won’t be able to power the stereo back up. Clearly I need to run a longer cable to a different plug, and I’ll do that. Had 1Mii included a 6 or 9 foot USB cable, it would have made my life easier.Bottom line? This is a superlative Bluetooth Bridge, which works connectivity miracles for a mere pittance. I enthusiastically recommend this unit, and I hope it gives you as much enjoyment as it’s giving me. Top marks!

Breathed new life into my Old Technics SA-DX950 paired with some Elac B5 bookshelf speakers. Sounds great streaming Tidal at higher bitrates. Elegant and affordable solution for anyone wanting Bluetooth via older A/V equipment.
