    LOVE LOVE LOVE
I’m not going to attach a photo, because the listing already has large, high resolution pictures. Rest assured, I absolutely LOVE these Cygolite Hypershot 350 Lumen Bicycle Tail Lights. Having bought 3-4 different headlights, I became frustrated with the terrible quality, weak light, and poor battery life of the tail lights haphazardly packaged with them. Surely, I thought, SOMEBODY makes a high-quality tail light that isn’t just an afterthought. Cygolite does.It is hot in Texas, so I ride my bike mostly at night when the heat of the day has subsided. Fast-moving, distracted drivers are dangerous enough without being invisible to them. The Cygolite Hypershot is bright. It gets noticed. Cars see you from far away. I can look over my shoulder and see it lighting up road signs 200 feet away. Settings allow you to adjust the light to blink and dim to your preference. Battery life is excellent. I usually charge it with my headlight, and the Cygolite battery outlasts it every time.I also bought the Cygolite Hotshot Pro 200. It is a slightly smaller, simpler design, but also an excellent product. You can’t go wrong with either model. UPDATE: I just bought a second Hypershot 350 because my son needed a high quality tail light to ride with me.

    Very good light
I have two of these; they work great and seem to be very visible. Easy to operate and lots of possible flash patterns. Great on dedicated bike trails and the road.

Possibly too bright for group rides
This is one of the brightest rear tail lights out there. Expertly designed, too/ May take a minute to familiarize yourself with the various settings. It is extremely bright at night. On a recent group ride, i had several people tell me it was blinding them. Then they asked who makes it?I had to study the settings to find out how to make it dimmer. You can only do this in two modes: Steady and Buzz Flash. The L button controls on/off and switching between modes. The right button will dim or brighten the light in those two modes. It comes with two mounts, for seatpost and seatstay. You can also clip it to a bag. If you want to mount it to a rack, you need to buy the rack mount, which needs extra hardware to fit on a Blackburn MTB rack. There is also a saddle rail mount available. I usually clip it to my under-seat bag, but I could also clip it to my rack bag or a messenger bag or backpack. AFAIK, there’s no real way to clip it to the back of a helmet, except for maybe an aftermarket strap. It has some proprietary tech that adjusts brightness to meet different lighting conditions, which gives it a variable run time in every mode. I have no idea how this actually works, but Cygolite mention it in their marketing materials. It will also remember the last setting when turned on, which is a nice feature. If and when sheer britness matters, this may be the king of shine. It certain;y gives confidence in night riding that you will be visible in traffic. Just remember to dial it down if going on a group ride.

    Super impressed with this light!
I rarely write reviews but I was so happy with this product I decided I should. I recently pushed a wheelchair on the Camino de Santiago in Portugal which required walking/pushing lots of road side miles. The Portuguese drive notoriously drive fast – sweet people but crazy drivers. I used this light almost exclusively during the day and it was so bright I could see the reflection in the road signs and car reflectors. The fully charged batteries lasted multiple days and it served its purpose extremely well.

Good unit-could use a stronger USBC port cover
(Bought 350 model) After 3 or 4 1.5-hour city bike rides: Ultra bright, daylight visible and runs a long time even on full brightness. Only weak point is that the USBC rubber port cover is small, weakly attached, easily yanked out of its anchor, and may completely disconnect with repeated use. Think twice if you plan to use it in wet conditions. I never ride in the rain so I’ll keep it and use a piece of tape to cover the USBC hole if necessary.

Wow, it’s really bright and conspicuous!
Massively bright and conspicuous via an impressive number of selectable pattern and brightness levels. Pretty easy to mount to the support strut of my wife’s RadRover 2’s luggage rack, though I did need to dig around in my parts bin to find an extra shim.Looks like a top notch product, definitely a step above the Planet Bike tail light on my bike.

    Great
Lights up the night and day. Very good battery life. No problems charging. The only thing you have to watch out for is the cover for the charging port pulls loose. When it pulls loose, you have to take the light apart to readjust the water seal in order for it to work effectively again. Small inconvenience for how effective this light is.

    Awesome light..made in 🇺🇲
My bike has triangular and oval frame sections on it.. so it’s very hard to use the mounts included with the light. But I managed to use the seat post mount on my collapsible milk carton which was mounted on my rear luggage rack. It’s very secure the way it is mounted. This thing is super bright. To me it’s every bit as bright as a emergency vehicle light. The individual adjustments for light mode and brightness are very nice. If you’re willing to spend a little extra money over the cheap Chinese lights.. this is the one to get. People will see you way down the road even in daylight. And that’s what I wanted it for not just night time visibility but also daytime visibility.

This is the brightest rear light I’ve seen. It isn’t just the 350 lumens number to look at, the spread and patterns of the leds emit a solid deep red light that can be seen from further away and it stands out more in busy city environments. It can be seen in the day easily and can be overpowering at night but that’s what I wanted. The bracket is quality and doesn’t slip or move and the quick release is easy but secure.

2 reasons why this is extremely bright. A is that it has a concentrated hotspot, ie very high lux (not talking about lumens). This is the value that you get on lux meters, the amount of light that you get at a certain spot some distance away. B is that it uses an orangey red emitter, easily 5-10 nm wavelength lower than other red LEDs. So your eye perceives it as brighter (brightest is at 555nm / green colour), more efficient use of power etc.I use 2 of these 350s as the hotspot is elliptical in shape and horizontally is 10 deg spread and vertically is 5 deg spread. So 2 of these gives me a 20 degrees horizontal coverage. I also use 2pcs of Magicshine Seemee 300 for even wider coverage esp with its additional Optic-trace LED firing sideways as i mount those horizontally on the back of my saddle (on a horizontal bar facing the rear).Need to fine tune a bit the vertical angle, the jagged teeth of the vertical angle adjustment is pretty “rough” and ends up either aiming the light too upwards or too downwards, esp for 1 of my light. I end up sticking some pcs of foam tape in between the clip on the light to serve as spacers so that the angle can be further fine tune. Very good light, you will be seen during day time. Use the STEADY mode for night time use, the intensity can be fine-tuned to a pretty low level. I think the run time for STEADY mode @ 350 lumens thereabouts (yes, full intensity) is 2hrs. This is one of the rare lights that you can run at max power in steady mode and still not overheat. AND also it can accept being plugged to a power bank and the light still stays lit, thereby prolonging the runtime a lot and limited by your powerbank only.
