We bought this to go camping & it works as it should. We actually do not put our trash directly into the bin because I did not want to have to clean it out each time. Therefore we put a trash bag in it. We did have to modify it slightly because the trash bag will fall down. Our solution was to hold it up with clothespins. If the trash is not gross or full we just take the clothespins off at night & zip up the lid. I think next time we will just take the garbage bag to the dumpster at the camp ground each time. We did have to purchase the larger bags, I think they were 30 gallon. Very useful product!

Adequate quality, but not super cute!
We bought this as an add-on, to give it a go at camping. Unfortunately, we only had the white 13 gallon trash bags. It was way too big for the trash bag. There are no hooks inside to hold it up. It would need the big black trash bag. It is made of recycled material, like that of a reusable shopping bag. It is adequate quality, but not super cute! It would work well to use to store sports balls or toys, be a hamper, storage for blankets or other bulky soft items. It is water resistant. It was nice, but not what we originally intended it for. We ended up returning.

These were a little sturdier than I thought they were going to be. I filled one with grass clippings, which held up pretty decent.Filled one with plastic filled one with paper super simple. I would recommend these to everybody.Theyâre a little tough to fold back down and get fastened again when you want to make them flat, but with a little bit of work, itâs worth it

Does not collapse well or stand fully open
I bought this collapsible trash can to bring camping. The size is great and fits outdoor trash bags perfectly-which is sometimes hard to do for outdoor trashcans. A few issues that make me not love it: the can itself expands with a coiled metal wire. This wire seems to be very thin. The can cannot even stand up under its own weight. It kind of sags into itself a bit and will not expand to its full height. The other major thing, which I think is a design flaw, is that half of the toggles to collapse the can are INSIDE the can so you cannot zipper the lid closed if you want to collapse it for storage (the lid just stays flapped open). When you use a trash bag as a liner (as you should, why wouldn’t you?), you cannot zip the lid closed. The lid is useless. It is good for using as a camping trash can and is slightly better than hanging a trashbag on a tree. Stars lost because the can does not stand fully opened and because the lid is useless.

This was perfect for our cook out. Great size and 30 gallon bags fit perfectly. It was easy to open, easy to use and easy to store. It is green but the color didn’t matter for us. Super light weight so recommend putting a rock or something heavy in the bottom.
