I really like these belts
I own a couple of black belts of similar style, and I thought I’d try a different color. The one I picked was dark brown (I think it just says “brown”, but it’s the darker one). The first thing to note is the buckle color. I wasn’t sure from the picture, but the buckle is definitely black. It’s fine with me, but some of the belts have a buckle of the same color. In this case, a dark brown buckle probably wouldn’t have looked much different than the black buckle anyway.Pro tip: when trimming the length, don’t cut the tapered end. Unlatch the buckle and cut that end (the blunt end) instead, then reconnect the buckle. With a good pair of scissors, you can be finished in less than a minute.I like that there is no metal on them. I can go swimming and the nylon doesn’t care. It is infinitely adjustable to accommodate different clothing and activity levels. While I normally wear these with shorts or jeans, you might get away with wearing this belt with fancier clothes in a pinch, such as packing light on a vacation. The nylon seems to last forever. Leather belts stretch and wear and eventually look bad, but these nylon belts look practically brand new even years later. The nicest thing is that they aren’t expensive. This one was just under $9 dollars. I could probably get one of every color and it wouldn’t break the bank. Black is my go-to, but I wouldn’t mind navy or khaki if I wanted to mix and match colors with my clothes, which is why I decided to get this brown one for my brown shorts.

High quality, good value
I like this belt, and the fact that it can easily be trimmed to whatever length you want. It comes VERY long, but just unsnap the buckle, trim to length. I pass the cut end over a flame to seal the ends so it won’t unravel.

Light and sturdy
Good so far and highly adjustable. Can be stiff when doubled and the buckle does not say YKK. Works fine.

Absolute best TSA belt.
If you fly a lot, this belt is for you. You do not have to take off because of the. metal buckle. This is a nonmetal buckle. but works as well as if it was metal.

Strong, No Metal, Adjustable, Don’t need fingernails to open.
Purchased this for a recent overseas trip so I’d have a no metal belt for going through TSA screenings. Now it is my everyday belt. Adjustable to any size within the range of the belt because it clamps rather than belt holes. The buckle device is a sort of lever hinge in them middle as opposed to the metal pin rod my old Navy belts had that would sometimes get stuck. Nylon (?) webbing of the actual belt feels quite strong. I bought the cross pattern and like the look and feel. I was skeptical of a plastic buckle but it seems pretty sturdy as well. Long term durability remains to be seen – have only had it for about two months – but I expect it will last a long time. It was a last minute purchase I’m glad I made.

My husband loves this belt
I purchased this web style belt for my husband a few months ago. He used to be a Marine and this is a similar style belt to what he used in the military. I absolutely recommend this belt. It is longer than your standard retail belt that can be bought at your average brick and mortar store. It can be cut down easily if needed but having the extra in the beginning is really nice if your waist is larger than the “normal” belts. It is also more flexible than leather or leather like belts. It doesn’t crack and break like those types of belts do. My husband likes this belt enough that I have been asked to buy a few spares.

No Give
I like that it is versatile in its positioning, not limited to holes in certain spaces. This allows for a wearing pants that sit at different places (high waisted, mid-rise, etc.) but not needing different belts for each pair. However, this belt has no give, which can make it much less comfortable to wear than a stretchy belt, or even a leather one.

Great value, works for my ski pants
Probably not the most durable for excessive usage, but great color options and so far ok for my ski pants, which get used 15-20x/season. This belt was just what I was looking for, itâs very light weight and the color was so good youâd think it came with my Spyder pants. And if it breaks, cheap enough to get another.

This is a smooth working fabric belt that uses a nylon webbing instead of leather strap. This makes it infinitely adjustable (rather than pre-determined hole slots) and more durable as the fabric won’t wrinkle or crack. There are also no metal in the buckle so it should make it past metal detectors without issues. The only question is durability, there are 2 plastic pivots on the buckle that closes to provide tension to hold the belt in place, my previous belt (not this one) broke there. I’ve only had this for a week or so, long term durability is yet to be soon.
