Safety first
I got these to protect the knobs on my gas stove from being accidentally turned on. These covers look nice, are easy to open and close, easy to install and they do the trick. They just spin around when the kids try to play with the knobs so it is pretty impossible for them to turn the stove on by accident. Great for kiddy proofing your home.

The best value solution
Have tried multiple other covers for my super capable 3 year old. Theese took less then a minute to set up start to finish and havent had any issues since installation. Great value.

Works great for cat-proofing
I don’t have kids but I got these because my kitten was able to turn on the burners and they work great! He hasn’t turned on the burners since I got them and I can still cook easily enough. They’re super easy to put on, just remove the knob like you would for cleaning and put this underneath. I like that they’re dark because they aren’t super obvious/ugly.

Does the job, if they fit correctly.
The covers are somewhat loose and free spinning when installed correctly, which is how they are supposed to be to function properly. Kid messes with the knob, but cannot turn the knob, because the plastic cover is completely surrounding it (and the plastic only spins freely around the knob). I used them on knobs that this product worked well for. If your knobs fit snugly in the cover, you would be able to turn the knob, making them useless. Only way to really know if they work, is to try them out on your specific knobs, and return or donate if they dont fit. These also come in handy so the stove doesn’t turn on if someone leans on it. They look reasonably well enough, for what it is. Just a subtle tinted cover. I like that the cover opens so that using the knob is really just as easy to use. I docked a star because of how to open the cover is kinda wonky (as it should be to stop kids) but I feel like there could be a better way. It seems like when you open it to use it, it could break, or mess up the proper installation, so I would always make sure its closed properly, just in case. I’ve always been moderately careful with it, and have had no issues. Also, if you have a problem with a kiddo or dog pulling the knobs completely off, they might still be able to still pull these off, depending on grip strength.

Love these, exactly what we needed
I am very particular about the aesthetics of my house so adding anything visual like this can be challenging. However, our stove knobs are really sensitive and far too easy to turn on by mistake, let alone with a toddler. These covers work perfectly, once I added a double stick tape to keep them in place. I surprisingly donât even notice them as they blend nicely, and they still make it easy to purposely operate the stove top.

Perfect Solution!
These were the perfect solution so I donât accidentally burn down our apartment like I almost did on the day we moved in. Boxes everywhere, including on the stove, which has its knobs on the front, right above the oven door handle (WHYYY?!) â I must have bumped into one at some point, so Iâm really glad I decided to go back out into the kitchen for a glass of water before bed. Everyone else was asleep by this point, and I smelled smoke. Woke the family up to try to find the source, and I picked up the box on the stove to find it smoldering on the bottom, with small flames coming out of the bottom of the boxes by the time I got it into the sink under water (and then hastily outside since that created smoke everywhere). I was SO AFRAID to go anywhere near our stove or place anything at all on top of it, ever. Until I decided to find out if these were a thing! And they were! (Amazon has everything! ð) Now I can bump into those knobs all I want to, without any worry that Iâm going to accidentally turn a burner on without my knowledge. And itâs super easy for an adult to open them to turn the knobs on or off when cooking, yet would be nearly impossible for a young toddler to do the same. Thanks for a great safety product that isnât just for kids â but adults too! I feel safe in my own home now. c:

Too Small
Our gas stove knobs are probably slightly bigger than most, and the covers were a little too small and our knobs would not fit. We werenât able to use them. The design is great though and they seemed to be easy to open and close. So for those that have a standard gas stove, I would still recommend trying them.

Worth the purchase
This is a must if you have kids in the house. Received these a month ago and they work well. I donât have to stress much about the kids turning the stove on.

Se colocan con facilidad, son de buen tamaño, lo que hace que en ciertas estufas cuesta instalarlas, pero es perfecto para proteger de los niños

Way too big., The knobs would have to be a mile apart to use these. Quality appears good but will be returning them.

This item has saved so much grief for my family. We bought them, not to protect a child, but dogs! We run a rescue and this crazy busy farm household full of dogs also has mice who like to check out the oven From time to time. The dogs will go after them (this is what we think happens as we donât leave food out) and twice weâve come home to the gas stove on! Once it was lit and simply posed a burn hazard to the dogs. What a fluke, right? Well it happened AGAIN. The second time the element didnât light and the kitchen was full of gas. Many various tragedies could have come from this. Aside from taking the knobs off after every use, I didnât know what to do and was scared. These look good, work with ease, and protect my family and my home.

Work exactly as stated. They are a bit large so be sure to measure the space between your knobs to make sure they will fit. After reading the reviews and seeing talk of how easily they scratch the stainless steel, I decided to use felt pads in the underside of them. Worked like a charm and I am still able to open them cover and turn my elements on. Wish I had purchased these months ago before we almost had a fire after an element was accidentally turned on. Highly recommended!
