LOVE!!!! Awesome, creative, simple recipes, great photography & stories.
I’ve been waiting for this cookbook, as I live in the Pacific NW too & recognize many of Adam’s photos. I love it even more than I imagined. Such creative recipes with simple ingredients. Most recipes only require a handful of ingredients. I love the layout of the book & the stories & advice & info. I’m planning to buy it as a gift for all my asventurist/foodie friends. Adam thank you for including Brigadeiros! A simple, classic Brazilian dessert we grew up eating. I’m most excited to try the Shakshuka, omelette in a jar, garlic herb flatbread, carnitas tacos, chilaquiles, mama’s chicken & dumplings, braised beef camp ramen, and Brussel sprouts & bacon. Soooo many amazing recipes, I definitely plan to cook my way through this book! Thanks Adam!!! â¤ï¸

I’ve had the distinct pleasure to have met Adam at an overland expo. He is a humble and great human being. Naturally, I wanted to support him and order his cookbook. Holy explicative. The artistry of this cookbook and the recipes are great. This is the way cookbooks should be. Incredibly well thought out, with amazing pictures and illustrations. Also, what cookbook places Tex as a central model!? Adam is both creative, passionate, and a master of his craft. I’m excited he combined his passion with camping/overlanding, as these recipes have inspired me… Pre-made omelets, why Yes… Group loved it while we explored the mountains of Oregon!

Simple, delicious, authentic
It’s hard to talk about Adam’s food without talking of him first as a person. Adam is a rarity: a genuine, authentic humble guy existing in a space filled with so many others shouting for attention. Instead he lets his experience and his food do the talking. This book is an absolute triumph, from the photography, illustrations and storytelling to the recipes themselves. Bravo. I hope a sequel is already in the works.

Wow, what can I say, Iâve been following Adam a long time, and I loved all his videos. Reading his book for the first time I didnât realise just how hard he worked, doing all this book himself, the photography, recipes etc. The book is beautiful to look at, the introduction is fascinating and you learn so much about prepping food.Then onto the recipes I love how they are packed with flavour yet really wholesome good food. Iâm beyond excited to start getting out and cooking these. I love to cook with my kids outdoors so this book is perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to be inspired and get some new skills under their belt!
