Extremely happy with our purchase
This is our first experience with security cameras. We bought three, mainly so we can monitor at which door the delivery drivers drop off our packages. Having wireless cameras with solar battery recharging capabilities and the option not to use a storage subscription service were features we were looking for, and so far we have been really happy with our purchase. We also purchased 128gb micro SD cards for each.After charging the cameras via usb overnight, the setup and hardware installation process was relatively painless. We followed the instructions of connecting the cameras to the network before installing them at their locations and were done in minutes. Adequate mounting hardware was provided so we didn’t need to use any aftermarket screws or mounts.Cameras – They seem well built. The mic picks up sound nicely and the alarm is loud. It is nice having the two small built-in floodlights which can be activated through the app along with the intercom. The video quality is decent and the night vision works well, providing excellent viewability.WiFi Connectivity- We have our router/modem setup at one end of the house and the camera furthest away is on the opposite end of the house, approx. 70ft, with several rooms in between. There can be a slight delay when waiting for the camera video to show on the app, but considering it is at the fringes of our wifi range, etc, it has performed and been more responsive than I would have expected.Solar Charging – In the couple days of use, the battery levels have not dipped below 80 percent. And they have all charged back up to 100% via the solar panels. We do benefit from our house being situated up on a hill and exposed to sunlight most of the day, but so far no worries about battery life. The cord for the solar panels is approx. 5-6ft long, which was more than enough for our installation needs.Weather – One of the cameras is installed where it is not protected from the elements. We have already had one day of rain, so of course there were water droplets on the outside of the lens which impeded visibility. The camera withstood the rain with no issues and functioned as expected. The protective rubber covers do a good job of sealing up the power/reset buttons and micro SD slots. The opening for the USB/solar panel cord is also well designed to help keep moisture out.App – It takes a little time to get familiar with the CloudPlus app and all the available camera settings, as you would expect the first time using a new app. It has many settings and features to go through, which were more than enough for our needs presently. Being able to view the videos recorded to the micro sd is mostly seamless, again it takes a little longer with the more distant camera due to signal strength.Cloud Storage – There is a free 7-day trial of the cloud storage services. It seems like it is $2.99 for one month of service, per camera. There are other options available so pricing may vary. There was not much detail on it (which has been my only disappointment so far with the whole system) so we are only trying out one camera for the month program to start. This gives us the ability to view the camera while away from home, otherwise you need to be connected to your home network. And with the couple times we have used it, it seems to work well enough for our purposes.We have been very happy with this purchase, and it has been a great starter experience into the world of security/monitoring cameras.

Kamera ist jetzt seit zwei Monaten in betrieb und funktioniert bisher tadellos. Leicht zu installieren. Der Akku wird über eine kleines Solar Panel aufgeladen, das funktioniert ebenfalls. Habe die Kamera auf dem Balokn installiert dort empfängt sie das WLAN Signal durch drei Räume durch. Die Kamera reagiert auf Bewegungen, man kann auch Live Videos ansehen. Auch die Nachtansicht ist gut. Ich konnte die Kamera mit meinem Amazon Echo verbinden. Für den Preis ein tolles Produkt.
