Lightweight and impressively sturdy!
These free standing dip bars are impressive from opening the packaging straight through to their assembled use! Very well packaged to prevent dents, dings or gouges. Easy & quick assembly. It’s four bolts per bar (8 in total – and they include all the tools! – SUPER easy!)Love the black matte powder coated finish. Has an almost mild sandpaper-like feel to it. Not rough on the skin necessarily, but definitely textured for grip everywhere! No part of the bars are left smooth or slick. Even the thin rubber hand hold provides both support as well as increased traction for your hand grip.Adjusts both up/down as well as in/out (side to side). The up/down adjustment may be a little un-needed in my mind. From the lowest setting to the highest, we’re only talking about 4 inches (31″ to 35″ max height). And the side to side connector bar adjust the uprights from being 20″ to 28″ apart. Perhaps if you’re really broad shoulders you’d want to go wider, but I honestly found the closer 20″ setting to fit me great. I’m 5’10” tall with an athletic build. Anything wider than the 20″ distance would’ve put out too far to feel stable.Speaking of stability, these dip are stable in and of themselves all on their own. I really don’t think the connector bar is beneficial (it’s really more of a pain trying to line up the holes, so I say stick it in a drawer somewhere & forget it exists).Excellent at-home dip bars that held my 205 lbs butt still for a workout. Think they’re going to work great for yours’ too. Plus, when you’re done, they tuck up nicely against the wall to clear up your floor space. Very nice find!!

Simple, yet very helpful exercise apparatus
This dip station is a very welcome addition to my home gym. I very much appreciate how simple it was to assemble and how little space it takes up when not in use. The connector bar between the two helps prevent a potentially harmful accident. Two connector bars would be better, but I think just one will work fine too. This is definitely usable without the connector…you just have to be a little more careful. I expect this dip station to last a lifetime in my home gym.I’m 5’9″ and I find the lowest height setting to be perfectly fine. The higher the bars go, the more likely you’ll have an accident (especially if you don’t connect the stations) since you’re increasing your center of gravity, but I’m glad that I can use it on its lowest setting. I also find the handles to be right at the limit diameter-wise to fit my hand, so men with larger or smaller hands than me (average) might have a little more trouble. I also appreciate that the handles have padding, which is helpful to prevent blisters.

Great Dip Station
I not only use these for dips, but also bodyweight rows. My kids love to play on the thing as well. It is very sturdy once put together. Assembly was easy. I have another dip station from a different brand that is uneven and poorly designed. That is not the case with this one. Every aligns just right and feels sturdy as long as you are using it as intended.

Why it is so shaky???
I purchased this dip station hoping to add it to my home gym for strength training, however, after using it for a few days, Iâve found that it is so unstable for safe and effective workouts! The station shakes even with moderate use, making it feel unsafe. this feels more like a toy for kids than serious workout equipment for adultsThe other major issue is that the left sidebar does not tighten correctly. The materials feel flimsy, particularly at the joints.I will be returning it

Well made Dip Bar
The Sportsroyals Dip Station arrived in a very well packaged box and was easy to assemble. I like that you can adjust the height and the width of the bars. We set ours to the highest setting with the handles closest together. My sons are loving these bars for workouts! The bars seemed to be well made and sturdy. We’ve had to re-tighten them once so far (2 weeks of usage), but they seem to be holding up well.

Decent dip station
I love the portability of this unit and its versatility. It’s not as stable as I’d like for dips, though. It moves and rocks when I’m doing weighted dips, which puts the total load at about 250 lbs. I’ve moved the bars closer, further, with the stability bar, without…it doesn’t matter, the bars will rock inward if I push too quickly. I don’t see these being a long-term addition to my gym.

Functional dip station
This is a quality dip station with a functional design and an impressive 2 year warranty. It was super easy to put together and is made from quality materials. The safety rod allows an adjustable connection to secure the two sides. This may still be slightly wobbly for some uses. I wish they had connected both sides for a more stable design, but I am able to use it as is. For basic use I would highly recommend this. However it may not be stable enough for more hard core fitness depending on the type of movement and weight of the athlete.
