Pleasantly Suprised
I was skeptical about whether these would work well for me, but they do. I am a hefty 255lbs with wide, flat feet. I normally wear a US Mens size 10.5 with a 4E width and I wear orthotic inserts for overpronation and heel pain. When wide widths are not available I’ll usually size up a little and it generally works out. The first pair I ordered were US Mens size 11. But I couldn’t get my foot in, even with the straps fully loosened. I sent those back and re-ordered a paid in US Men’s size 12. It’s as close to a perfect fit as I could have expected. Got the chance to wear these quite a bit on a recent beach vacation. I wore them on multiple boats – nice and comfy, good grip, light weight even when soaking wet. I used them while riding a jet ski and got the same benefits. I also got off the boat and walked around in multiple sand bar areas and didn’t have to worry about my feet getting cut by shells, rocks or anything else (and no crab nibbles). Having the shoes protected the bottom of my feet when I was reboarding. The ladders on boats and jet skis are usually narrow and these allowed me to climb back in w/o causing any arch pain. The water drains out pretty well, sand is a mix. It does drain out too, but much is left behind. But it will rinse out fairly well if you take the shoes off. After each boat/ski ride, I wore the shoes all around the marina and it felt just like a regular shoe, albeit a little wet. Not soaking, squishing wet like a regular shoe, but definitely still wet. I didn’t have to worry about burning my feet on the hot marina deck boards or cutting them on the gravel in the parking lots. I even wore them wet to drive back to my condo. These don’t dry super quick. I washed out the sand and let them sit overnight and they were still damp the next day. Otherwise, and overall these are the best water shoes I’ve ever owned and I look forward to more water activities with them.

Things to Know
The shoe seems to be comfortable, but a couple of things worth noting. This looks just like many of their slip-on shoes. I thought the top and sides would be more porous, but they seem to have a layer of material between the inside and the mesh looking outside. Not necessarily a bad thing, but surely has to affect the drying time.Size wise they probably run a little small. I have wide feet and at the suggestion of another review I order a size larger than usual, and they fit pretty well.Essentially, they are just like similar sneakers with a different sole on them, which does have drainage holes.

Excellent boat shoe
I have a 19 ft Seadoo and was looking for an alternative to flops when launching and docking. These shoes have drain holes in the soles and the inserts and the fabric is meshed you can walk in the water and pick your foot up and and by the time you’re standing on your running board of your truck the shoe is drained. No soggy heavy tennis shoes, docksiders retain water these don’t. They are comfortable enough to wear long term socks the back heel is padded. I can hear them for 2 hour drive wants the boat not so the interior of my truck just an all-around awesome shoe

Comfortable water shoe BUT padding isn’t antimicrobial
These are awesome as water shoes go, However they do tend to smell if not fully dried out. Fit well and very comfortable. Solid sole for walking on rocks.

Comfortable wet or dry.
I bought these as water shoes, but they almost seem too nice to get wet. That didn’t stop me though. I wore them on vacation this summer to the Smoky Mountains. I wore them swimming in a lake and also at Dollywood walking around with them both dry and soaking wet, (from water rides and a sudden cloudburst). I have often received bad blisters from wet water shoes if I have to walk in them, but these were comfortable the whole time.

Cheap!
On day one of using the shoes, both insoles came loose and I had to remove them due to it being so uncomfortable, and then one of the strings on the right side broke off before I even got a chance to use them. Overall, they barely lasted 2 days!I had bought them for a waterfall hike excursion on a cruise I went on thinking they would work perfectly, but I was sorely mistaken. I had always heard this was a good brand but I wonât be buying againâ¦

What you’re looking for in a quality shoe
Great shoe but so is a lot of shoes, the best one is the one that fits your particular size not everyone wears the because printed size is what you want, wrong, these shoes are extremely tight for a medium size width if you have a wide foot, beware didn’t notice a size ,other than that good looking product.
