No, it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection.

Yes, it is compatible with Homebase 3, however it currently only supports the storage function. BionicMind, modes, and automation are not yet supported.

Totally Boring Guy –
Remarkable indoor cameras for the price
We bought these prior to a vacation in order to be able to watch our cat and make sure she got fed. The cameras are small, light, and easy to attach to walls. The video quality is astonishing both day and night, and the audio really adds a sense of being there. Each camera can operate independently of any central hub, recording its clips onto a standard SSD card without uploading clips to the cloud. (I’ll leave to more tech-savvy reviewers to evaluate Eufy’s security issues around uploading thumbnails to the cloud. For my purposes Eufy’s system is secure enough.) I find the Eufy app easy to use: it allows you to review the feeds from your various cameras, turning them on and off as needed, setting motion detection and various other settings. Speaking of motion detection: it catches what it’s supposed to catch, can easily differentiate between a person and a pet. For me this is an excellent, modular, low-cost security solution that would be appropriate for most home or office applications.

Works with HomeKit, here’s how to set it up…
This is a good quality, budget camera that supports HomeKit Secure Video. But to use it with HomeKit, you must set it up using the Eufy Security app. Hereâs how:1. Download the Eufy Security app from the App Store.2. Create an account.3. Select the option to Add a device.4. From the Device Family screen select Wired Camera, then select Indoor Cam.5. Plug in the camera and follow the onscreen instructions. The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your Wi-Fi network.6. When you get to the screen warning that thereâs no microSD card detected, touch âSkipâ.7. If a firmware update is available, touch âUpdate Nowâ. This may take several minutes.8. Read the mounting notes for your desired location, or touch âSkipâ9. A live feed from your new camera will appear with three dots in the bottom right. Touch those dots, then touch the gear icon.10. Touch âGeneralâ, then touch âHomeKit Portalâ. Touch âAdd nowâ.11. Follow the on screen prompts.You can now use the Apple Home app to customize status and notifications, recording options etc. But itâs important to understand that HomeKit integration requires the Eufy Security app. If you disable Motion Detection in the Eufy Security app, motion detection will not work in the Home app. To avoid getting dual motion notifications (one from Eufy Security and one from Home), In Eufy Security go to Settings and select Notification. Deselect all notifications.

Great addition to security
This is an awesome product. The packaging is neat and the directions are very easy to follow. The app associated with the camera has many additinal features that can be paid for and arr cheaper than other security companies. The cameras connect to the home wifi so you can view them at any time and stay connected with no faults. My last security system constantly had problems with keeping a camera connected to the wifi. The picture quality is great and it does have what seems to be a fish eye but you can easily make out object on the camera day or night. The cord for the camera isnt super long so make sure an outlet is close by. It comes with an easy to install bracket so it can be placed on any wall or walkway. Im very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone.

Good enough for budget security solutions
I’ve had these since October 2020 and overall I’m mostly satisfied with the cameras. They’re affordable and are quick to set up. I mainly wanted a camera to point at my car while living in an apartment complex with a lot of movement from people at all hours of the day and night.Pros: easy set up, small and unobstructive, night vision works well enough, no subscription needed, can set up detection zones to avoid false positives, can view live feeds and review footage from the appCons: camera quality is not “2k” or the clearest quality for that matter, does not work behind glass (infrared lights will bounce back as would any camera with infrared behind glass), does not always pick up movement or recognize people even if they are walking back and forth in front of the camera, caught a lot of false positives from tree branch movement even after I lowered the sensitivity, my SD card got stuck in one of my cameras and I can’t get it out now :(The summary: you get what you pay for and these cameras are decent for a small set up that requires very little maintenance.

Set up in eufy to port to HomeKit from their app! It works!
Works great and HomeKit included!! If youâre someone who is looking for an inexpensive HomeKit camera, this is about the only choice. The picture quality is great, after swapping it from 2K to 1080p (HomeKit restricts) I didnât notice any real difference on my iPhone or iPad. I have 2 Logi circle 2s and the last photo shows them on top a Rudy on the bottom. Identical and these were a quarter of the cost. One feature you lose is your 2-way radio, but itâs an indoor cam, who am I going to be talking to inside my house? As far as it being an indoor cam, it works great up against a window. The base sticks out a little bit to have it flush but it still looked great, I rigged a stand shown in the photos so the base would be angled and flush! Just remember to turn of night vision light or the glare will block it. All in all Iâm pleased, I canât complain about 2 cameras that work with all my devices for 60 bucks! For those of you who struggle with HomeKit, you have to download the app and set up the camera completely (skip anything it asks and allows you to such as storage) once itâs on the little settings wheel will show an menu with HomeKit portal and go from there. I turned off notifications from the Eufy app and deleted it from Home Screen just not my phone (for firmware updates) once you switch to HomeKit you videos are controlled through that. It works great and Iâd recommend! I wish I handnât spent the money on circle cameras so far back knowing how inexpensive these were!
