Worked great
Used for the first time today. Smoked pork butt and collected all the drippings from the wrap. Sat for a few minutes and had perfect separation of fat from the juice. No leak of any kind noticed. Easy application back into the pulled pork. Leaving only the grease behind. Highly recommend

I am so glad I ordered this product.I use it for bone broth and it helps keep the fat content low.This also helps transfer liquids into jars or other containers with little mess.Great value, well made and sturdy. Thick plastic. It will probably crack if dropped on tile.The holes allow for good flow and straining of larger particles but I add two layers of cheese close to keep my liquid clear.The capacity is perfect. Not to much that it s heavy to hold but big enough not to waist time refilling.

Bottom cracked on 3rd use
Isn’t there a warrantee on your products. The bottom cracked on 3rd or 4th use. Not heat resistant like advertised

I purchased this after (yet again) going through the annoying process of trying to skim and separate fat from the broth I was making, and I have not yet made another batch of soup since, so to be clear I haven’t used this yet. BUT so far I am pleased. Seems sturdy and functional, comes apart nicely for cleaning. It seems of good quality for the price. The one thing I’ve noticed is the hole at the bottom seems small so guessing some patience will be required. Patience is not my strong point, but I expect it will make a lovely change compared to the frustrations of the past. That’s the dream anyway :- )

This separator comes ready to use out of the box, with a bonus vegetable peeler.The separator is large and holds a lot of juice. The top strainer is also generous so you can pour right from the pan without having to prestrain.Once the cup is almost full just wait a few minutes for the oil to separate.Then hold the separator over a container or pan and simply press the red button on the top of the handle and the bottom juices flow out. The button can be depressed at various pressures to control the flow. the handle is large and comfortable so its easy to operate with one hand.Releasing the button self-seals the bottom spout and it is leak proof.I have use the traditional low spout design and this is much easier and better.The top strainer pops off for easy cleaning and its dishwasher safe.The peeler is a bonus and it works well and is comfortable.

No home should be without a fat separator. I have had others with the pour spout, but this one with the plunger does a much better job. I love the fact that it is so easy to clean. Despite other reviews, the plunger does separate for easy cleaning. Would definitely recommend.
