It’s LOUD
Easy to carry in your purse – I attach mine to the shoulder strap ring and slip it inside my purse for easy access. I test drove it outside, it was easy to set off, it was extremely loud (made the dogs down the street bark!) and easy to turn off. Hopefully I will never have to use it, but loud noises are a crime deterrent, so anything helps us stay safe. I am a 71 year old woman, and it gives me some piece of mind.

I loved this device. I never was in a situation where I was forced to take advantage of it. But I did feel a need a couple of times to show someone what it was. I pulled the device from the hook and it began the very loud chirping.They had no further questions.The only downfall is that it has been chirping while in place therefore I can no longer keep it on my me for safety. It can be embarrassed by at times. It really did make me feel safe. I am a survivor of a rape so this was really important to me to be able to use this”if I felt in danger”.

This is LOUD and I like the strobe light!
I like that it was not too easy to activate (I was worried it might fall off the keychain and go off randomly) but it is easy enough to activate that if you were elderly or had little hand strength you could still easily activate it. I also like how aggressive the light and sound are. We tested this out in our home and it disoriented my husband and I for several minutes afterwords. This is perfect added sense of security for my morning walks and traveling/shopping alone. I would have given it 5 stars if they would have somehow linked the base of the alarm device to the top just to ensure it stays on the key ring if activated and is not lost.

Personal safety must!
I first read bout this product on a sole traveler vlog. I decided to buy one for My middle school child who began walking home a few times a week. The birdie is reliable, super loud, has. Flashing light to attract attention when the pin is pulled from the device. Itâs light weight, easy to use and has a convenient clip that you can use in a tons ways. Itâs the perfect size. This device gave my daughter and I an extra sense of security for various situations that she may need to draw attention to to herself in an emergency situation. I bought a second one for my adult daughter after purchasing the first one . Comes in many colors as well.

Great for college students!
I got this for myself and also for a college student as a graduation gift. It is so easy to use and can be carried on college campuses. The alarm is very loud and the light is bright. The alarm just get louder until you put it back together. I know I feel safer carrying this and so does my college student! And itâs cute too!

Survived washing machine.
I accidentally put it through the wash– it still works! Previously I’d ordered a less expensive one, but it stopped working after about a month. Spend the extra money for this one.

Ear splitting, but maybe too easy to activate.
This thing is absolutely EARSPLITING. I have no doubt that it would deter an attacker and draw other people’s attention. I was holding it at arms length and I could physically feel my eardrums vibrating. My ear even started to ache a little after I deactivated it. Thats both a good thing because it helps with the whole safety thing, and a bad thing in case someone were to accidentally activate it to close to their ears. Its so loud that im kind of concerned it may cause real damage. That being said, I am a little concerned that it’s too easy to activate. I think the pin could definitely have more resistance and it still be easy (even a little too easy) for children, elderly, or disabled people to activate. There isnt much resistance at all, however there is a definitive click/snap to let you know when the pin is properly re-secured. It’s not that its too easy to activate either, but I wouldn’t hang it off a bag or keychain. I think I’ll personaly keep it in my backpack side pocket since I’m taking college classes and don’t want to cause an interruption (or die of embarasment) if it were to accidentally get tugged or snagged.

I purchased this as my daughter is soon to be heading off to university. Itâs just that extra bit of security knowing she has something with her. Should she be confronted. The sound is very, very loud and sharp. Perfect for deterring anyone who has a negative intent. The light is very bright and flashes very quickly. Iâm sure it would stun anybody in the dark atmosphere. Itâs easy to click back in and easy to clip onto a backpack or purse. I would highly recommend this product

This means that either you cover the light with your hand for the alarm to be heard, or you cover the speaker for the light to flash. You cannot have both like you are supposed to.
