1st impression bad, 2nd chance AWESOME!!
I ordered this because itâs windy as all get out where I live & I just needed a lighter that I didnât have to fight with to use. When I initially bought the lighter I thought it was pretty cool, it needed charged after 2 days, I considered that possibly normal. But then it started needing charged nightly & I only use it twice a day! I was not too thrilled about it, but sucked it up. Within a week of it starting that, I had to charge it EVERY time I wanted to use it⦠now I was more than annoyed.I reached out to the seller & told them I wanted a refund. They asked me to give them a 2nd chance & if I was still unsatisfied they would refund me immediately without any issues (which they would have done either way, but I do try to believe it giving 2nd chances).I received my replacement about a week before I ended up in the hospital, but the lighter was with me the whole time & not charged one time the entire time I was in the hospital & now I have been home for about 2 weeks & it is finally showing it only has 1 bar of power left!! This lighter managed to work for 2-3 weeks without issue or being recharged!!!I also love that they made the power slide a little more difficult to slide on & off because itâs a deterrent for children to play with it!!I am pleased as punch with the replacement thus far, but if I just jinxed everything by writing my review (it seems to happen a lot anymore⦠I need to just carry a piece of wood with me just to knock on when I leave reviews. Lol) I will happily reach back out to the company & work with them again!!!

Cute and effective
This product looks very nice, just makes a really not nice noise when lighting candles, but itâs definitely worth it and so convenient to have. I absolutely love the green color and how easily I can light candles with it.

I have to be honest, I thought this thing would be a joke, but I am very impressed! I’ve used it multiple times already still on the first charge, about 6 camp fires started. I’ve used it to ignite dried pine needles, lint balls with petroleum jelly, and also used it so melt the ends of small nylon rope. I love it!

Used one time and then it no longer worked.
I liked it that it was a pretty green and thin that I could carry in my purse for a special occasion to a birthday party to light candles. We used it to light 12 candles, turned it off then when I trie using it again, the ON and OFF slide switch will not open. It is stuck shut. I cannot use it. Well we get what we pay $6+ down the drain. I do not recommend this product.

Amazing for candles, not great for most other things
Overall an excellent product for lighting small things like candles around the house. My wife and I love having candles lit but the long lighters with fluid were expensive and ran out quickly and we couldnât reach deep candles with the shorter cheaper lighters so this is a perfect replacement for those scenarios. We also have a fireplace that we use somewhat frequently and it just doesnât provide enough power to start a fire starter easily and I was also not able to get a grill lit with one of these. It does not light candles as fast as a traditional lighter which is not a problem at all unless you are trying to light 10+ candles for a birthday cake. We tried to light 25 on a cake for a surprise party and had to grab a traditional lighter to help as the first ones we lit were halfway burned down by the time we got to 10 candles. Overall, perfect and economical for lighting candles but not great for heavy duty usage.
