Comfortable
Great pair of overalls, feel cool to the skin but keep you warm. Good quality and holding up to weekly use over the colder months.

Great Bibs but Carhartt sizes are HUGE!
Granted, I know these are “Loose Fit” but Carhartt should maybe revisit their sizing charts just to save $$ on re-shipping! I am 198 lbs, 5′-8″ tall, and wear 36/30 pants (Tom Cruise has no worries, but Drew Carey needs to watch out!). Carhartt sizing charts put me at ‘X-Large’ (Regular), but they were massive. Five or six inches too long and uncomfortably baggy. I returned immediately, re-ordered “Large – Short” and they fit perfectly with plenty of length to go over my work boots without looking like I am ready for a flood.Get you some!

Great fit, seem pretty tough.
I ordered the Carhartt Brown, received Dark Brown and I was so happy for the mistake! Love the color. This pair was made in India and all the stitching is perfect, all the buttons and snaps are perfect, etc.SIZING: This was difficult to figure out online, never having owned a pair in the past. I ended up with XL Regular. My measurements: 6′ 1″/240lbs, Chest-50″, Belly-47.5″, Hips-37.5″, Inseam-30″.They are perfect and do not drag on the ground.I wear 38-30 in Carhartt pants as I wear them under my belly.I have only one concern, and it’s the elastic shoulder straps. They are constructed of a looser type weaved elastic.Overall (lol), they are well made, seem to be durable and I’m pleased with them.Hope this helps!

Nice for winter/bad weather
Spent some time in different conditions with these so here it is:Fantastic in the cold. Wind and snow flurries were a non factor. And I was wearing gym shorts underneath in a breezy 30°F.Good in the rain! Had them on in a pretty moderate rain storm and they kept me dry. Was out in it for maaaybe 15 minutes tops. I’d expect it would start to soak through at some point though. Especially in like a really heavy rain. I will put some water resisting spray from Kiwi on them at some point. (I use it on my golf stuff and old hiking shoes, it’s great!)THE FIT: THEY ARE LOOOONG BABY. As you’ve probably read in other reviews. I am 6’0″, 165lb athletic. Long legs. I settled on Medium Short. I could have gotten away with Medium Regular, but went with short so I could wear something other than big snow boots with them and not have them drag. Regular was fine with snow boots but just *slightly* too long with regular shoes on.Also as others have stated, the elastic shoulder straps allow the adjustment clip thing to kinda slide down. Not a huge deal though.Overall, recommend. If we get a big snow up here soon I’ll be back to let ya know!

Theyâll keep you warm
Bought these for the winter and they are perfect for keeping you dry and warm. Only down side of these pants is they run really large even though I bought the shorter cut they still go down past my feet if Iâm not wearing boots. The pockets are also not super deep so some of my things like to slip out. But thatâs not a super big deal to me. They do feel heavy but I prefer that in a cold environment.

True to size
A product that is made to be used. These fit great and have just enough extra room for moving around freely when working outside. I do like that these overalls come in different colors the brown and black look cleaner longer so those are my first pick. The zippers open from top or bottom. Adjustable straps make for a better fit. The fabric is thick and holds us to washing too. If I had a complaint it would be the zippers after wearing a couple years they seem to fail. Not sure if there is a zipper that can keep up with the high use of the overalls. Still our favorite and will buy again.

Size
When I can not get to a store to try on an item before buying i always rely on reviews, especially those with height, weight, and any measurements that would help a would be buyer. So here is my review of the Carhart Bib overalls Large, Short:I am 5 foot 9 inches tallI weight 190 poundsMy chest measurement is 52inMy waist, at my hips is 34inMy inseam is 32inI’m not going to speak to the quality of Carhart simply because they are pretty much indestructible. The fit of these is perfect for me. I needed a new pair as my other 20+ year old pair was worn out. During the winter I run snow groomers over night and needed something that I can layer underneath and still have room to move, as well as be comfortable. So, I put on my thermals, my sweat pants, my jeans, a tee shirt, flannel shirt, hoodie and then put on these as this would be my normal layers. There is plenty of room in the seat, and thighs. The waist has 2 buttons which I had to undo the top on each side.I wear Muck boots and the length is fine, longer than I would like, however I’m not walking on the seams.Hope this helps. If I was NOT layering under these I would probably get a small based on how “roomy” the larger are.

Very nice and warm but if you are a small person for myself Iâm 5″6 and short is too long even with the adjusters to the max you will need to modify them but overall very pleased lots of pockets and others

My other carhartt is not the big and tall version but the strap has room for adjustmentThis one I got the big and tall the problem is the strap don’t stay at one spot they keep on moving down. My solution is to find where it feels comfortable and sew it so it doesn’t move out of placeNext problem big/tall I’m 6′ 3″ the pants leg is so long it gets wet because it’s touching the ground while my boots is on. not gum bootsI work outside only and these keep you warm from 0°C and may feel hot at 13°CAnything below 0°C reccomend wear long johnsAlso these overall feels heavy while wearing them the only thing I had on is my wallet and keys but after 6hrs your neck and shoulders hurt

This overall is built to last long and it is great for winter. The issue I had when wearing it was about the adjustable front-elastic suspenders with webbing slider on straps. It does not stay in place and after a few minutes it is back down again.I need to adjust the height so that the bottom of the legs do not reach the heels and I step on them.I could not find a solution for it. I bought the right size, but there is this minimal adjustment to be done. The size is Large and I am 5’10” tall.
