A great base layer for cold weather activities
I’ve gotten a lot of Baleaf products over the years for myself and my kids, and I have always been pleased with the quality. This top is no exception. It fits well with some extra room according to the size chart. I actually ordered a small even though the size chart indicates I should wear a medium, and it is comfortable and fitted without being tight or pulling anywhere. The fabric is soft and thick, with nice, soft, warm brushed fleece inside. It has a nice stretch that doesn’t feel restrictive at all, great for sports. I wore this out horseback riding with just a light jacket on top on a breezy/drizzly 50 degree day, and I felt comfortable and warm. This would make a great base layer for true winter outdoor sports, or for moderate activity on chilly days. It’s probably too warm for active sports on cool fall or spring days, especially because with the mock turtleneck you can’t zip it open for more ventilation once you start to heat up with exertion. I ordered the blue color, and I really like it–it is a nice, rich blue color that is brighter than a true navy, so you can wear it with either black or navy pants/jacket (or other colors, of course). I think I will get a lot of use out of this shirt this winter, especially skiing and horse riding, or just for a comfy top around the house or town on chilly days.

Comfortable & Warm
This thermal shirt is super comfortable on the skin while keeping my body very warm as well. The long sleeves and thumbholes are perfect, and itâs long enough to tuck in easily. The included gaiter is a bonus. It’s pretty lightweight and well made and I’ve been using it almost everyday on my early morning walks when the weather is cold.

Very warm and comfortable
This thermal shirt is very warm, very soft and comfortable. I don’t care for turtle necks or higher necked shirts, but this turtle neck does not fit super tight and has some breathing room, so I don’t mind it. It will also help keep my neck warm in the winter. The long sleeves are the right length as are the thumb holes. The shirt fits well, but isn’t to tight. I really like that the length of the shirt is long and will easily tuck into yoga pants, ski pants or what have you, and not ride up so there is a draft! It is an excellent thermal shirt and it will get a lot of use from me this winter. A bonus is the gaiter which you can use around your neck, or as a headband – a variety of ways. The price is reasonable for what you get. I have had other thermal shirts that have not fit as good or been near as comfortable from $10-60 higher in price. This is a bargain and a great shirt.

Excellent in Style, Fabric, and Warmth
Baleaf Thermal Fleece offers superior performance and style.The blended polyester / spandex material is super smooth and soft. Ideal thickness – neither thin nor heavy. Fabric feels awesome on my skin.Fits the form nicely and is true to size based on their chart. I would favor an inch or so longer but that’s just a personal preference. Be sure to take note of the length – at 5’7″ it comes down just above the waist. I like tops that fall to the waist or down to the mid-waist. This top does not.I love these features:- Mock turtleneck style- Breathable recycled material- Long sleeve length with thumb holes- Detached neck gaiter for cold weatherFor your consideration: the blue isn’t as vibrant as shown in their product photos. The color is muted and more on the grayish blue side.Overall, this is a terrific thermal fleece that is designed for warmth, is comfy, and has a superbly attractive style. I love the look and feel.

very warm and cozy
This shirt is very, very warm. I love that I can wear a thin layer and still stay warm. The collar comes up high enough to keep my neck warm, too. The inside of the shirt is soft fleece and very comfortable. I also like that the shirt is shaped to fit a woman’s curves. It drapes nicely and looks classy. The sleeves are very long, which works well for me.
