I like this product but would have preferred a louder siren sound. Plus, it came apart when I dropped my keys one time and scared Me. It might frighten away someone who wasn’t expecting it, but it may not project fast enough to be a call for help, depending on where you are.

Beeare of false alarms
The alarm sounds isnât as loud as in thought it would be but the strobe light works well. My only real complaint is that the clip it comes with disconnects very easily even if you tighten it securely. Also the pieces separate readily enough to inadvertently sound the alarm. Luckily I havenât had cause to use it & hope that I wonât. Perhaps if be thankful for the quick release if ever need to use the alarm.

Great product great price. This is a much more effective security device than mace in my opinion. The noise that it makes plus the strobe light of fact I think could deter a number of threat situations with people and animals. For a little confidence enhancer when youâre out on a walk or to carry on your keychain itâs a handy little item for the price. Iâve given several as gifts I like it so much. I have dropped it at least once or pulled the pin out and the sound goes off, so make sure you know how to put the pin in quickly.

My daughter and I tested this alarm as soon as we received it. I ordered two, one for each of us. The alarm was louder than I expected based on reviews I read and I am very happy with this purchase. Easy to pull the pin, but not so easy that it would detach on its own. It would be nice to have a place to attach the carabiner on the other side of the alarm (versus on the pin) so it could then hang off a backpack or purse without worrying the carabiner may pull the pin out if it accidentally got caught on something.

Purchases for my teenager who is going out of country on a vacation and taking the train back home. Was worried about them making this first trip on their own in being away on their own and thought that this would be a solution. I love the size and the noise level that this little device projected especially for the cost the only thing I would change is the connection loop that it comes with it’s awfully large and between the size of the loop and the unit itself it’s quite cumbersome. We switched it to a smaller carabiner and clicked it to their bag and it was perfect.

I bought this for my purse, as i have to walk around from the back of my work building to the front, in order to get to the parking lot area.This alarm with such a powerful screech helps me feel safe. It’s easy accessible as I’ve clipped it into my bags handle, and all i have to do is pull it, and the alarm with flashing light will sound.It’s VERY loud. I did a test and the coworkers inside my work office can hear it, even with windows closed! So it certainly helps offer that extra bit of safety.
