Fantastic for Christmas parties with children
The coloring books in this set are much smaller than I expected, and the crayons are much larger.The set comes with 12 different Christmas coloring book designs with two books of each design. Each book has 12 secular Christmas themed pictures to color. The coloring books are just slightly smaller than 5â by 7â. The designs inside each book are different. Some books have more complicated designs with thinner lines while others have more basic designs with thicker borders. (See pictures) This gives options for a wide range of ages. The paper in the coloring books is normal weight paper and not your typical coloring book paper.The crayons are absolutely huge. Included in the set are 4 six-packs of crayons. These crayons each have 12 different colors. They are stacking crayon tips that serve as the lid for the other crayons in the stack. Each individual color is a 1 ¼â section. They can be stacked in any order and come with a clear lid for the top. They almost look like markers, but they are crayons. The crayons color well and seem to be good quality. They give good coverage and are not waxy. (see picture)This set would be great for a Christmas party where each child gets their own book and crayons. I have 10 grandchildren aged 10 and under and we will be using these for our family Christmas this year.

I was very pleased to see these little coloring books have simple design patterns. They are perfect for engaging children in the short term. They are not too complicated as to be too challenging or so engrossing that children do not stop when asked. Additionally, the fact that there is one set of colors per book is a huge plus; eliminates disagreements over available colors.The color pieces fit together to store away neatly. They also pull apart easily for selected color. There is a tendency of the color pieces, if gripped tightly by little hands, to separate from each other while being used. The little ones at our holiday gathering simply used one little piece at a time without trying to make longer (pencil length) crayons.The kids loved them, the adults liked them and I was thrilled with them.
