Fun and easy craft experience
This is way more satisfying and creative than I originally expected. The colors blend in such fun ways and itâs quite easy to set up. The powder dissolves quickly into warm water into a bucket that is included that comes with a latching lid with a handle. You can save the solution to make more with it over a few days. The solution doesnât store well for long periods of time without getting scummy. This goes for the water elves also, who must live in water to not dry up. The water that theyâre stored in needs replaced every few days or it gets slimy and stinky. They can be out of water for plenty of time to be played with. This came with oversized plastic gloves so we used our own (and I didnât use anyâ¦) and we all washed our hands after playing, just in case. These claim to be nontoxic resin and there is no odor or film.Dunk the mold into the solution and be sure to shake out any water spots, and watch for air bubbles when squeezing color into tray, as these can create a divet in your finished creation. Be sure to fill the mold completely so that they plump up well. You wiggle the tray (flat) in the solution and within moments, they peel away and float. They need to stay in the solution to soak and become squishy, recommended an hour minimum before squeezing, but they donât break apart if done sooner, but maximum inflation is so cool to watch!The color bottles can be a little challenging to squeeze, but we had ages 5-85 do it just fine. There are little stoppers that need to be popped out to start the colors, as well as a lid that covers the spout. The colors are vibrant and this was an exciting experience for everyone. Have fun!

Easy, fun, very little mess, plenty of materials
I bought the 20 color set which comes with 4 packs of powder. One pack of powder was more than enough to keep me and my 8yo engaged for hours. We would have kept going but our hands were cramping from squeezing bottles. Itâs so easy. There is nothing âtrickyâ about it. The only âmessâ was a bit of solution water which wipes clean without residue. We tossed the new toys into her bath which added to the fun. I think theyâre made of the same stuff as orbeez. They hold up great but do cut easily, so they probably wonât last very long but, yay, biodegradable! We kept them in water overnight and they got bigger!

My 10-year old daughter loves this kit! Easy to setup and little mess, we love that multiple kids can do it at the same time since it comes with multiple templates and colored gel. Recommend!

Great activity that teaches patience and creativity
This has kept my toddler busy for days, non-stop! It was raining with strong winds for a few days straight so going outdoors wasn’t an option. This activity was a life-saver for a toddler who is tired of their million other toys already. The variations of colors you can make for any creature and the learning aspect (learn patience and waiting) is great! Exactly what was needed. Even adults got into it :). The only drawback is the black color (which we used only for the eyes) – that gel always poorly dispensed and/or dried up so dispensing was an issue – required an adult to always squeeze out (with force) a lot of gel on a tissue in order for it to start working again – wasted a lot of black to throw in trash in order to do a simple dot for the eyes…

Fun for everyone! Read the instructions and watch the videos, first!
It comes organized, in the perfect Carrying case, which as a mom, I love storage containers. In the instructions, itâs showed to use it also for the magic water but we used a wide Pyrex dish instead, so that all three kids were not hovering on top of each other.My only complaint is, I wish there I were more magic powder packets provided in the kit. I know they sell Extra packets separately. However, with all the gel tubes that were provided, itâs not a good ratio in my opinion of tubes to packets. As far as activity itself, I love how relatively clean and organized it is. And I didnât realize how much they would puff up into actual squishies. I thought it would just solidify but somewhat like how it shaped in the mold. That was a nice surprise! My kids were from ages 8 to 10 years old And it kept them busy for a while, which as a parent trying to limit screen time (lord help me) â Activities like these are Gold.

Fun for all ages
Put down a towel. Lots of water play. Measure your water. Read directions so the kids who want to jump right in know what to do. Even my 13 year old granddaughter loved this. All three had a blast. Lots of color and imagination. Fun!

My grandson loves this! Super fun and easy! Found you donât need a whole packet of powder for it to work -use less water and save it. Just make sure you leave them in the water for at least an hour.

MUST BE STORED IN WATER
*updated review! The company reached out after my review and the customer service was 10/10. Buried in an obscure part of the info packet it sort of says to keep them stored in water. Don’t be like me and miss that part.We made these and it was definitely fun. Kids and I really enjoyed watching them transform. Until the next morning when they were shriveled to nothing. My 4 y.o was devastated and my 10 & 11 y.o frustrated they put in so much time and effort to create only to find them dried out within a day. I’m not a fan of unknown chemicals, so we rinsed these after the “curing” period before the kids could play with them. I guess we have to store them in the solution and rinse before each play next time. But that’s a lot of work.

I loved this and will be buying more for my daycare ! I gave it a try today with my daughter who just turned 6. She absolutely loved it and so did I. It’s fun to do, lots of colors to choose from and the instructions are very clear. Make sure to read the instructions as you’re supposed to leave them in the water for at least 4 hours. I waited about 4.5hrs and both my kids are now playing with it. No issues whatsoever. It was a great afternoon activity for both of us ! Definitely recommend !

Iâm not sure who had more funâme or my 2 year old! I would definitely say this is more for 4/5 year old range in terms of creating designs. However my 2.5 year old loved helping with the process and absolutely LOVED playing with them once they had formed after several hours! We kept them in a bucket of water and played with them daily for a week straight. I do wish the kit came with more powder (Iâm sure you can purchase separately), but that is the only dislike I had. Great for a rainy day activity!

Received this as a gift for our daughters and they were extremely impressed! They love being creative and this allowed them just that. Really simple to use for both kids and parents. A big hit with their friends as well! Reaching Customer service via email was a breeze and they were quick to answer any questions/concerns I had – they were amazing!

Kids loved how easy it is – water does have to be quite warm so better for older kids. Also have to squeeze the bottles pretty firmly to get the gel out. My kids are turning 8 (was a birthday present) and I think it was perfect for their age group!You get enough for 4 buckets of the reaction powder, but you can send a request for more. Not sure cost for more , but it looks like there is a lot of gel for more than just 4 rounds.All in all a good investment I feel and lots of fun!!
