Honestly, I was not sure I liked this at first. However, it quickly grew on me once I let it play and swirl for a while. It casts beautiful prism colours on the surroundings from the swirling glitter and the tunes are classic ones you’ll find yourself humming along with. The music itself is a bit tinny and loud but I found that if I placed it on something soft (like a cloth placemat or felt) it not only decreased the volume, it helped provide the right acoustics for better sounding music. Overall, it’s an enchanting Christmas decoration that will leave you mesmerized with the swirling glitter and sparkles it casts. Oh, and it comes in a great gift box – it’s printed like it’s already gift-wrapped with only a single small sticker identifying the contents!âââââ = Exceeds expectationsââââ = As describedâââ = A flaw or twoââ = Serious drawbacksâ = No, thank you

This Christmas snow globe in-a-lantern is adorable. The vignette inside the glob is simple and includes two snowmen and trees. you can plug the snow globe in thanks to the USB cable, or you can use it unplugged with 3 AAA batteries. I find the battery cover to be a bit finicky to install after removing it.You can power on the globe and change the settings from a single switch located on the underside of the base. I like that the snow globe lights up and plays Christmas music. It has several songs in it’s repertoire and it rotates through them. The sound quality is a little bit tinny, but it’s still fun – jolly even. I’m going to use this musical globe as a centrepiece on my dining room table during the holidays. I don’t have a lot of holiday decor pieces, but this a fun item and it doesn’t take up much space in my small apartment.

This is a pretty Christmas globe. This snow globe plugs in or takes batteries. With the press of a button the snow swirls around the globe and there are 8 Christmas songs to choose from. I am very impressed with the quality of the globe and when the snow moves it is very pretty and magical. I don’t love the music and probably is not a feature that I would use often. It is fun for little kids for sure, but the time with the music on would be very limited for me. I do love the glitter and I really like that it takes batteries so that I can place it wherever I want without having to worry about a plug. I do love it and I will use it for the Christmas season, just without the music. I really love that you can still turn on the globe without having to play the music. Great product.

I ordered this for my mother-in-law. I actually like my mother-in-law she would like this.It’s resin but the snow globe is actually pretty good quality. I was surprised at how snowy it was inside just taking it out of the package. I guess I can say I was also surprised at just how pretty it is.The lantern is a decent size and very Christmassy. It comes in a pretty Christmas Box.I don’t think I was aware that it’s powered by USB but it is, so I’ll have to give her a power block along with it.The music on it is decent but I find the snow action a little much. It’s not gentle flowing snow, more like hurricane snow. I think for that reason I like it best when it’s not turned on. I guess that could be subjective though, if you like hurricane snow this might be perfect for you.This is a really nice lamp, maybe a little pricey, but it’s nice enough to be a great gift. I’m giving it four stars and I think if you have a mother-in-law she would like it too.

My wife loves Christmas and loves snowmans because it last longer in time than Santa Clauses.This is more than beautiful.It’s got great music (that does not sound canny) and the glittering snow spins good (fast but not too fast).You can either set it to music or not.It could be pricey for a decoration but It is classic (so will last in time) and made very well and with quality materials.The price is even a bit less than big warehouses and with the actual coupon ($10) makes it even better. A real bargain!Also, unless the battery ones from the warehouse, this one can be plugged to a wall outlet via USB cable and if you don’t have but need a long cable you can use batteries.Excellent buy.
