Quiet Player
I like how small it is, how easy it is to set up and how quiet it is! I’ve had two DVD players before that were so loud I had to have the sound cranked up just to hear the movie, this one hasn’t been a problem. I also love that I can play my UK DVDs on it. Side note since it took me a second to figure out, you hit the N/P button on the remote when switching from USA to UK DVDs. Good value for the price.

Easy to Use great for DVD Collectors
I’ve had this player for a few months now! And even without the remote, I’ve still been able to use it easily. Just know it’s a really simple player, it doesn’t have toggles on the front beyond a play button, power button, etc, and also it doesn’t have a bluray player as well. I personally really like that, as I just use it as is, and collect used or old dvds. It also works really well with my new or collectors ones too! It also hooks up really easily to any tv as well. So, there’s that.Honestly, just an overall really great starting player. I recommend it if you’re looking for one!

Used the hdmi cord and plugged it into my tv. turned it on Added batteries to the remote and watched a dvd. No issues, NEXT shipped the previews. and hit play. Simple to use remote and buttons on the unit. Very hapy with this purchase.

Review of Electcom Pro DVD Player
I purchased the Electcom Pro DVD player based on: it is an âAmazonâs Choice,â has 4.2 stars, has 34,237 ratings, and was a limited time deal of $28.79. I also ordered it because this DVD player also plays CD and includes HDMI and RCA cables. It was an easy plug and play right out of the box. Setup was easy and the picture and sound quality was great for DVDs. The sound quality was also great for CDs. I highly recommend the Electcom Pro DVD/CD player. A great product at a great price!

Impressive Product Support
My DVD player quit working after only 6 mos. I tried to call the no. listed in Product Support, but it didn’t work, so I sent an email to an address found on the warranty card that came with the product. I received a reply from Electcom Pro the very next day explaining that it has temporarily discontinued its phone support and requesting my Order No., which I immediately provided. After that initial exchange, Electcom Pro followed up with me EVERY SINGLE DAY with further instructions or information–even AFTER they sent me a replacement. They provided a tracking number, then checked on the estimated delivery date to see if I had received it. I am a technologically illiterate 80-year-old senior citizen (don’t even own a cell phone) who rues the day when technology caused the death of customer service in this country, so I can’t emphasize enough how impressed I have been Electcom Pro’s product support/customer service. The 5 stars I’ve given the product are really for Helen and the rest of of the company’s Customer Support Team!

Everything But The sound Works
I am chronically ill and easily confused by mental tasks and wanted a DVD player that was supposed to be simple to use. This was about as simple as it comes. Literally plug and play. The buttons on the front of the device are basic, just what I wanted. The remote, however, is pretty complicated. I looked forever to find the basic buttons I needed on it. Picture quality is just fine for the price but the sound… Initially there was no sound. I tried all the obvious solutions (is it muted? Will another dvd work? Try a different hdmi cable. Switch the hdmi port.. Etc.) and nothing worked. I decided to just unhook it and put it back in the box but forgot to stop the playback of the DVD I had in (because I get confused) and when I picked the device up the sound popped on then stopped again. After that the sound continued coming in and out. It only worked in short bursts of a few words then went silent for minutes. I got hopeful and continued trying to get the sound to just come on fully but no luck. I was too worn out cognitively to call customer service after about 30 minutes of this and just left it hooked up and powered off. When I’m up to tackling this issue again I’m calling customer service and will see if they can help me with this. If we’re able to get the sound working I’ll change the rating. In case it ends up mattering, my TV is a Samsung.

If you only want it to work fo 1 1/2 years more or less than it works fine.
after a year and a half it begins to malfunction to the point it will not connect to a TV nor recognize a CD that is loaded. So it looks like it’s going to cost you $30.00 a yrar to watch cd’s. It’ s a role of the dice.

Como seguramente tanta gente, tengo un cúmulo de DVD’s de aquellos tipo región I a la IV que no tenÃa en que verlas. Asà que esta pieza está siendo muy útil para entretenimiento, especialmente cuando tienes que sortear tanta basura que tiene Netflix. El artÃculo requiere poco espacio, fácil de instalar, instrucciones sencillas, y buen precio.

Ich nutze diesen DVD-Player allerdings nur als CD-Player, aber diese Funktion macht er hervorragend.Da mein CD-Player nach 20 Jahren das zeitliche gesegnet hat, suchte ich nach einem günstigen CD-Player, den es aber offensichtlich nicht gab, deshalb entschied ich mich auf dieses Gerät auszuweichen und wurde nicht enttäuscht
