So far I’m impressed! Best one I can find in this class that’s not outrageously expensive.
I did my research when buying this drone – fly time, battery cost, video features and stability are all important. I wanted something under 250g so I didn’t have to bother with a license (I’m just a hobbyist, mostly flying around my own property.) Batteries can be had cheap (~$50) if you look in the right places as well. It has a 3 axis gimbal so the video is VERY smooth. No vibrations come through, and it keeps it nice and level. There’s a bunch of cool features I haven’t even had a chance to get into yet (not to mention it’s 4k at 60 FPS!)The remote is very clever too – the way it expands and connects to your phone directly (it comes with three different cables to ensure you’re covered.) All of it fits inside the included little case; I’m still shocked how tiny it is. Flight time is around 25-30 minutes per battery and it comes with 2 batteries and a USB charger (that will charge both at the same time.) No indication of charge status though, outside of the light going off when it’s fully charged. (Every bit of weight counts!)Be sure to get a good microSD card for this. Look for one that says something about 4K video and has a high write rate.Also has a “night mode” that can take some spectacular shots but I haven’t tried that yet. Controls are mostly intuitive but I had a tough time figuring out a few of the advanced ones (like panorama.) Plenty of YT videos out there that explain it though, if you get lost.Came with extra blades too, in case you bonk it into something. Speaking of which, that was the only thing this didn’t have – obstacle avoidance. If you’re like me and just taking it up for overall shots and don’t really fly around a bunch of obstacles it’s not a big deal.Definitely a change coming from a Phantom 3 4K I bought ages ago. So much smaller, flies just as easy (if not easier) and charges with USB-C instead of proprietary chargers. No license needed, no remote ID needed, nothing.Considering the price it’s one heck of a drone!

Absolutely incredible drone!
I have been looking for a drone that can record true 4k60fps video, hopefully for under $300. It seemed like an unattainable fantasy, but I saw this FiMi mini 3 drone on the website and it should fit the bill, so I immediately placed an order. I received it very quickly and couldn’t wait to test fly it in my backyard and community park. The drone performed perfectly the first time, the flight was very stable, and the photos taken were clear and colorful. The 4K60fps video is smooth and vivid, and does not require any editing, which is pleasing to watch and share directly online. There are many other features that you don’t usually find on beginner drones, such as waypoints and tracking; impressively, you can track for 10 minutes without missing a target. Quickshot must also be very fun, creating short videos like hovering in an instant. I will use it one by one and enjoy it.For a cheap beginner drone, it has too many advantages. This is the only 4K60fps drone! This is the best drone I bought this year.

A friend of mine, who has many years experience with generations of and a varieties of drones, strongly recommended model FiMi mini 3 to me. This drone is light and compact, neatly designed for easy operation. It is very simple for a beginner like me— always accurately responding to my control with ease. The very first flight is stable with a high degree of fexibility. It takes clear pitures and videos. It sends windy condition warnings and still takes good pictures in a windy weather. Its ability of hanging steady while taking photos is also an attractive feature. Especially the one-tough auto-return feature is accurate and impressive. For a beginner, this may be the best model for learning to operate a drone.

Está equipado con una función RTH (Return To Home), que devuelve el dron a su punto de despegue en caso de batería baja, pérdida de señal o solicitud manual. Pero FIMI va un paso más allá al integrar una función de aterrizaje ultrapreciso: gracias a su cámara orientada hacia abajo, el dron puede detectar su pista de aterrizaje y aterrizar exactamente en el centro. Cuenta con un modo SAR (Search and Rescue) , diseñado para la búsqueda de personas. Esta función muestra las coordenadas GPS del dron en tiempo real y activa un zoom digital de hasta 12 aumentos, lo que hace que la búsqueda sea más eficiente. Relación calidad – precio insuperable!!

It was between this and the DJI mini 4k. What I can tell is that the build quality is like day and night, cheap plastic, 1 less battery and the same price as the DJI, the plus is that it has more features. I returned it the day it arrived. Now let’s see how goes the refund process. I’ll come back and edit it afterwards.
