It’s a great idea!
I’ve been riding with eyeglasses-mounted rear view mirrors for many years. I recently bought new sunglasses, and the mirror that I had wouldn’t attach because of the thickness of the earpieces. In my search for a solution (different mirror or different sunglasses), I came across the TriEye glasses. I bought a pair as a trial. After trying them, I returned the other sunglasses that I had previously bought. These work great for me!Advantages over glasses-mounted mirrors:1) The mirror doesn’t stick out and hit things that your face gets close to.2) There’s no stalk attached to the mirror to poke your eye out in a mishap. (I shudder at that thought!)3) The adjustment isn’t prone to being disturbed by the helmet strap.4) They can be folded just like any other sunglasses, and there’s no separate piece to deal with.Disadvantages vs. glasses-mounted mirrors:1) The mirror is low in the field of view rather than high. (I found I got accustomed to this almost immediately.)As I stated, these work well for me. I would urge everyone who rides a bicycle to have a rear-view mirror of some type, and the TriEye sunglasses are an excellent way to have one.

Amazing concept.
These glasses are perfect. I wish the rear view lens was larger by about double Along the side and did both sides. Also, it should be harder to move as every time I would grab my glasses, I would inadvertently move the rear view lens.

Great fit. Bigger mirror
This is my second pair. The fit is much better. They did not move on my face and no uncomfortable feelings even after 3.5 hours of riding. The mirror is now bigger and easier to adjust and then stays in place. Thanks.

Dangerously poor design
I’m returning these after one use because the mirror’s visibility is extremely poor. I have ridden with a helmet visor mirror for 40 years and I was hoping this would be better, but it isn’t.Pros: Comfortable design, especially on the nose piece, and the glasses are very light. Lenses filter UV light well. Glasses come in a very fancy case. Mirror is easy to adjust.Cons: It’s very hard to get the mirror to show you what’s behind you (!). The best you can do is fix it so that you have to turn your head 60 or 70 degrees to see the road behind you, and even then the mirror is too small and poorly placed to allow you to see what kind of vehicle is coming and how fast. My visor mirror does that easily. At night, you can’t see much of anything except lights.I used these glasses once and was almost hit from behind by a car I couldn’t see until the last second. If the mirror were placed higher and if it was a bit larger, it might work, but for now I’m sticking to my old one.

Mirror doesn’t work very well for road cyclists; photochrome effect isn’t terribly strong
The glasses themselves seem well made enough, but the mirror simply can’t achieve an angle that would let you look behind yourself without substantially averting your eyes from the road in front of you, and the further into an aero tuck you are the worse it gets. At BEST you’re going to have to move your eyes AND turn your head roughly 45 degrees to get any real idea of what’s going on behind you, which means that you lose nearly all perception of the road ahead. I had hoped that these might be a golden bullet for not having to glance all the time, but they simply don’t do what I wanted them to.Also, the photochromatic effect is not very pronounced, and even after exposure to moderate light they were basically transparent.

Work
Work but pain adjusting each time! Strains the left eye to focus and hard to do quickly! But handy!

Brille hält was sie verspricht.
