    This Is a Heckuva Multi-Tool
I don’t write many reviews, good or bad. And I’ve had plenty of both. I decided to write a review on this product because it exceeded my expectations. I read the reviews about it and bought it based on them. First of all, the reviewers that said it is heavy, it is heavy! If that’s a problem, then it’s not for you. With weight you get heft and sturdiness. I think it’s really easy to hold in the hand and has a nice ergonomic feel to it.I really like the knives on it. I’m not a fan of blades that have some serration to them. Don’t get me wrong. There’s a use for serrated blades and plain blades. I just don’t like them on the same blade. This has a serrated blade AND a plain one. So, you pick which one you need. Another thing about the blades. They have an opening on them and are situated such that you open either one with one hand. For me that’s huge. How many times can you not get your other hand loose to open the blade? For me that happens a lot and being able to do that without having to open the pliers or use your other hand is important. They also lock and have a nice release. Oh, and before leaving the blades, someone complained that there’s was not sharp. I could slice paper with it right out of the box. Another reviewer thought they weren’t stainless steel. I’ll know for sure if it gets a patina, but right now it sure doesn’t look like it’s carbon steel. I haven’t really used the other tools much, but they seem good quality and are useful. Some of the multi-tools I’ve seen have some goofy stuff on them. This one’s pretty basic and they’re easy to open. The file tool is good and I like that it has it on the edge as well as the file. Also has a ruler on the back. I like the way the screwdriver works. It locks at a 90 degree angle as well as in line with the handle. The bits are two-sided and store nicely in the holster. the only suggestion would be to have had one of them be a standard square driver bit. As far as the pliers and wire cutter, I haven’t tried cutting wire yet or used the pliers, but they are tight and good quality.Bottom line, if you don’t want to pay Leatherman price but want pretty darn close to it in quality, I highly recommend this tool.

Solidly Built. All the tools you need.
For the price, this is a heck of a deal! The multi-tool is nicely crafted, the blades are very sharp right out of the box. It has a good heft and feels good in the hand. Blades and tools lock solidly in place. The screwdriver and assorted bits are very handy and store easily in a pocket on the case. Very pleased!

    Just got it but…
But I can already tell it’s going to perform well for my needs. I have a Gerber MP600 that I broke the pliers on, and am still awaiting replacement from the company, so I bought this to fill the gap at work. I can already tell that these MO pliers are much stronger and durable than the Gerber. Plus, all tools are accessible from the outside, making that another + over the Gerber. And, the multiple drill bits are a great feature. Also, it’s half as expensive as the Gerber, so why not buy two of them instead? This wasn’t meant to be a Gerber bash party, but I’m questioning why I ever bought it in the first place, instead of this one. If it’s very lightweight work you’re doing I guess the Gerber might be ok, and it’s made in USA, and it is light, and I think one of the selling points is that it’s used by police or military or something. But honestly I think I’d rather have the Mossy Oak on my belt than the MP600 if I’m a cop or soldier. It’s just heavy-duty for bigger jobs than the Gerber is made for. One thing I will mention is that the Mossy Oak is significantly bulkier than the MP600, probably twice as much. But I’m not sure that’s enough for me to count it as a big drawback, considering the expected durability.Like I said, I just bought it so my rating might change over time, but right now I feel pretty confident that it’ll outperform other multi tools that have more name recognition, and at half or more than half the price of them.

    Great value
Nice quality multi-tool that has good versatility and nice price. Comparable to my Leatherman though not as great build. But at a fraction of the cost you can’t go wrong. This is my second quantity order as I give them out as gifts to my crew.

    Works Great
Good substitute for Leatherman, has all of the required tools with an acceptable quality of steel. Has locking mechanism for the main blade, seems to work well with no slippage. I think it is a good choice at a good price. Reccomend

Good quality for a on sale price.
I bought this when it was on sale, and wanted it since it was one of the few cheap multi tools made in America. I’ve had cheap ones in the past that became loose or were mostly just junk, but this one felt more like a cheap end Gerber that I had a while back. The big thing that made it worthwhile for me was the socket for screwdriver bits which is very handy for what I do. The bits that come with it are a little cheap, but they do the job and you can get more pretty much anywhere. A few people mentioned that this multi tool is rather heavy, and they are correct. It’s chunky and weighs down on my belt, but it’s not that big of a deal overall. The quality makes up for it, and I feel the extra weight is warranted since it feels like you could roll over it with a tank, or prop your car chassis up with it. Overall good for buying on sale anyway, very happy with it.

Got mine for $29 on Black Friday. All tools perform as expected. Solid competitor to Leatherman multitools that are more than twice the price. Only minor con is that it’s a bit heavy.
