Perfect for wrapping
I love to wrap Christmas gifts…and it helps to have good tools to assist with creativity. This cutter was inexpensive and arrived quickly. I set up a folding table in a spare room for wrapping Xmas gifts. I also purchased another tool which has clamps that attach to the folding table but also holds the rolls of wrapping paper with Scotch tape rolls. The cutter is paramount because there is no more wasting wrapping paper and it works simply by fitting over the roll of paper and slices through for an even cut…great tool, inexpensive

Works with nice paper
I used nice paper and these were amazing. I used cheap paper and it was horrible! With the nice paper it was a clean slice and worked perfectly! With the cheap paper it was snagging, catching and just shredding the paper. I would recommend, but use nice paper!

A bit “cranky” but “is” useable
There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once the cut gets started, it’s definitely better than scissors, “for me anyway.” You “can” use it without “surrounding” the supply, it’s just a little tricker to get “that initial cut” started. I can’t attest to the length of time the razor will last, but it made it thru a great deal of paper and foil this year anyway. I will say, really light gauge wrapping paper could be / may be a problem getting the cut started.Overall though, I was happy to have it and use it. It (this cutter) made wrapping faster for me this year. (especially on paper with no lines or paper with irregular patterns – we will make sure all future paper has guide lines or we’ll buy a paper dispenser and cutter next year) 🙂
