Awesome floodlight!
I purchased a pair of these for outdoor holiday decorating. I am very impressed by the quality for the price. The case is heavy gauge aluminum and the lens is thick glass. It appears to be very rugged and should last many years (even through winter weather). This flood can display just about any color you could ever need. The hues are very rich and true and there are no traces or shadows from the different hues used to create each color. The 15 watt will nicely cover an area of 200 -300sq. ft. They easily outperform old style incandescent floodlamps and are always cool to the touch.The included directions are a little confusing (typical of those translated by Chinese) but they do have a nice diagram indicating the function of each remote button. The remote is very intuitive and it was easy to figure out how to use all the different functions. You must first pull the plastic tab from the rear battery cover to activate it. I played around with the settings for a bit before putting the lamps outside. One caveat, the remotes all appear to work with the same code. If you have more than one lamp, it is a good idea to adjust each one out of range of the others or else they will all mimic whatever setting you choose. As the photos show, each lamp has a mounting bracket that allows you to swivel the base if placing them at floor level but you must obtain your own hardware if you want mount them to a stake or other fixed object.Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of these lamps. I am going to order 2 more and use them year round for various holiday decorating and outdoor functions. I will never use old style incandescent floods again!

Lights Good, remote fragile
I like the lights. They are small, very bright, capable of far more colors than your average cycling LED, and the light nails all deeply rich colors. The fixture does not get warm, though it does generate a minor amount of heat. The light could really use a filter holder and diffusion plastic, at least as an option.The price was quite fair for this capability and the lights are a lot of fun, but I wouldn’t advise staring at them , because this is hard core light, I’d say at least 100W incandescent, prob more. I don’t know the lumens but they are substantial, so bright in fact that the diffuser or a box becomes really important because your models or anyone’s eyes will not like connecting with this light. This is not a light you look at, so it needs diffusion though the element is totally sci fi and quite interesting. They don’t get too hot, they are encased in black metal, which has decent hardware and a short frame that goes 1.5 inches below the light, but it is a metal stand, with holes to anchor the light, which isn’t that heavy, so it can easily be clamped anywhere. The hinge is a bit tight, so I’m scared to bend the frame. Tread slowly. Another reviewer said they are grounded and there is a three way plug, prob the way it should always be.OK, so that’s all great, but….the remote is scary fragile. We are talking like tic tac box thick plastic. You step on this, it’s over. The dog can chew it in one bite. It’s light enough not to shatter if dropped, but dropped on a stone floor, not sure how it will do, and this controller is everything to the light, which has NO buttons on it whatsoever. You plug in the light and it’s going, or it might be off if you left it off. The remote is labelled with symbols. For the price, the light has the usual cycling sequence, and then a quick flashing sequence that makes it a real party light, and then a bunch of still colors, three white to amber colors and cycling (not sure what the use of that would be). There is a color shifting wheel, though it only works on still colors, not the cycling ones.The light seems to have an infrared rcvr for the remote. Not knowing this or not, can this light be controlled by a universal infrared controller of some type, so one is not eternally dependent on the remote?Anyway, great light, there must be a way to control it from a better controller or software. It does a lot for the price, and it is bright, but it’s def a step short from true lighting control, although the light looks like it should fit right in to a system somewhere.

These lights are great, they work great with the app and they work well outside. Weatherwise, the glass is glued and provides good water resistance.This is not the first time we buy these lights, we bought from the same seller few years ago, we did have an issue with one of those lights but customer service was great and they replace it, no questions asked.

Light is great – remote terrible
Light works great, the issue is the remotes are cheap and break easy. And there is no way to adjust the light from the light itself. You need a remote…. Mine are stuck now on the last light color I used

Good overall flood lighting. You can set up where both work in unison or different lighting on each. I do like the preset colors as well as individual colors. Use it on our trailer, with other detail lighting.
