Northern Italy’s fantastic Alto Adige is at your beck and call for 60 minutes here and it is a sweet workout indeed! This is the sister-selection to the Dolomites Bike-O-Vision Journey #51 as the Dolomite range is adjacent to this province. Called Sudtirol by most German-speaking locals (South Tyrol in English) it displays a pleasing cultural and aesthetic mix of both Austrian and Italian heritage. The rides take you through rolling hills of boundless terraced vineyards as one of the finer-quality wine regions of the world. If you like the Champagne France, Udine Italy or Rhineland Germany Bike-O-scenery, you will not be disappointed here. We chose the best routes for your trip, such as the Strada del Vino- Weinstrasse (starting from Gewurztraminer’s namesake town, ‘Tramin’) but note that even the most industrial areas around the largest city, Bolzano still have beautiful mountain views. And naturally you’ll see no less than four castles, plus many decorated villas, residences, wineries and churches along this pedaling paradise. Enjoy one hour of cycling ‘divertimento’ (fun)!

FrankenFodder –
Absolutely breathtaking scenery!
I also rode the Dolomites, Italy Bike-O-Vision (see my review) and so was worried this one would be too similar- it wasnât. It was SO worth the tiny investment (especially compared to a Peloton subscription!) to use this disc over and over just drifting through the vineyards in northern Italy, pedaling away the calories of the long winter and naturally pretending I was really in this utterly beautiful region of the world. Highly recommended!
