Perfect Shorts
Shorts are really well made, great value, love the waste and pockets. Adjustable belt makes it easy to tighten up. Has back pockets with one zippered for my wallet and the other for my phone. I have many pairs as they are the only shorts I will buy.

I have several pairs of swim trunks and now these hiking shorts from âMaamgic.â All of the products are first-rate. The material on these shorts is substantial and attractive; thereâs just the right amount of stretch; the workmanship is excellent (the seams are all beautiful); and most importantly, the shorts are super comfortable, look great and are durable. In fact, theyâre better than the G-brand that inspired them!Now, if I were giving my Chinese colleagues advice, I might tell them to come up with a non-nonsensical brand name ⦠Meanwhile, these shorts are excellent like the other products in their line. Iâll be buying more, and suggest they make pants exactly like these shorts, except longer ⦠🙂

Good walking shorts
I hate belts so the built in tightening strap is perfect. Bought a different brand from C###co I like those a little better but these are good. They run a little small in my opinion. And if the strap comes out of the buckle you’ll spend a few minutes putting it back. Had them for several washings and they’ve stood up very well.

NOT WATERPROOF, NOT EVEN WATER RESISTANT! You had ONE job…
Started walking every day and, one day, got caught in the rain. I hopped on Amazon, did a search for “waterproof walking shorts” and these appeared. They said they were waterproof.Well, I just got back from my first rainwalk in them and let me assure you they are not waterproof. They fit well, they seem durable, lots of pockets with zippers, etc., but eyeglass cloth in my front pocket, which was SOAKING wet, confirmed what I already kinda suspected. (If you can blow air through the fabric, it’s not waterproof). So, they failed at the one thing I purchased them to do.

Exact Gerry Shorts CLONE
I bought (3) of these types of shorts at Costco but made by “Gerry”.However, Gerry changed one of the key features that I liked for traveling–the Front Velcro/Zipper pocket (latest version has only a zipper positioned vertically and no Velcro flap).That was a useful design feature when traveling abroad to prevent pickpockets AND ensure my wallet did not fall out.Well, the Maamgic shorts have cloned all of the Gerry shortâs features including the original Velcro/Zipper front pocket.Oh, the other unique feature is the small adjustable waist âbeltâ that you can quickly cinch up to either let out or take up slack in the waistânothing fits perfect.Also, you canât beat this price.

Wish they would come back with 38’s!
I love these shorts a lot, the built in belt is perfect.They just only have the size 38 in one color, wish the other colors would have the bigger sizes stocked up again!
