Best Eyeglass Retainer I’ve Ever Used!
Having worn glasses for most of my life, I’ve gone through a wide variety of retaining straps/cords/etc. during my military and law enforcement careers. Although my most recent prescription eyewear had a lightweight, titanium frame that stayed in place under most conditions, I just went through cataract surgery, and now only require reading glasses. I ended up having a couple pairs of glasses ordered, with a very minor correction on top, and reading bifocal on the bottom, so that I can read and watch TV without peering over the top of supermarket readers. While one pair is using my awesome titanium frames, I got a backup pair which uses the frame the VA issued me. This set doesn’t fit well, and always slides down my nose, and falls off if I lean too far forward. I took a chance that the Pilotfish No Tail cable strap would not be annoying and cumbersome like the straps I’d used before, and I’m glad I did. This cable retainer is lightweight, well-made, functions perfectly, and is super comfortable! I’m also impressed that this retainer has a lifetime warranty. Although I will only need this one, I will also be sure to tell all my glasses-wearing friends about Pilotfish cable retainers…they are that awesome!

Keeps glasses on through exercise
I had a time where my eyes needed some recovery time from wearing contacts and I could only wear my glasses. I’m very active with daily exercise, jogging, and taking care of young children who like to swat and grab at my glasses. These were imperative to get through my weeks of no contacts and keep my glasses from falling off or being grabbed from my face. Once I adjusted them for my face, they stayed put until I took them off at night. I even wore them for two different days of amusement park rides, roller coasters, and activities and my glasses never felt like they were not secure or would fall off. A very simple and very effective product!

Pretty good, but needed a hack to stop them slipping off
The strap looks pretty neat and worked OK, but it kept slipping off if you put any kind of tension on it. I had the same problem with another type, so I figured it must be because the end of my glasses is too narrow. I wrapped a little electrical tape around the end, and now the feet is nice and snug. No sign of it slipping off any more.

Adjustable Cord!
This eyeglass strap cord is adjustable which makes it versatile. I have been using this for more than a month and I find it very practical. I use it with my sport glasses. I can adjust is so that I can let my sunglasses hang around my neck when I donât need to use the glasses and I can also make it tight around my head when I need the sunglasses to be snug and not fall during running or biking or water activities. Itâs made of some kind of thin steel cable so I know it will last a long time. Definitely a great strap and not expensive for the quality and use

Can’t live without em
These are perfect for my glasses. I am an oyster farmer and constantly have to look down and up all day. These are easily adjusted and even work.great loose because of the ear pieces. I love these

Nice but too big.
I bought the large thinking I would need the extra length but it’s too big and doesn’t have enough adjustment to tighten snuggly against my head. The build quality and design is nice otherwise. Just doesn’t do what I wanted it to do and didn’t want to bother with returning it. I should have just gotten the regular size.

I bought these for my sunglasses while out on the boat. They adjust fairly easy both to tighten them and loosen them. My frames have fairly large ends on them. These fit very well. Slide them on and theyâlockâ in place.
