This is my third cookie scoop!
Love love these. Uniform cookies every time. Iâve bought the more expensive oxo brand and it pinches my pinky due to a poor design. Not these! They are great and fit in your hand well. They have a great weight to them and are easy to use and feel very sturdy. Iâve scooped thousands of cookies by now and they are holding up so they are a great value.Do be cautious of very cold dough, they do protest a bit when dough is solid. Be gentle with these and they will last years. Abuse them, and they break quickly. As the dough warms up, they can get caked and the scoop isnât as fast to release or the dough sticks and starts making the cookies not bake as well due to the butter melting too much. Simply run it under hot water to get rid of the dough and then rinse with cold tap water, dry and start scooping some more.

Sturdy and well built
I have had problems finding cookie scoops that are not flimsy and fall apart quickly. I haven’t had this one for a long time yet, but I have made several baked goods with it, including a stiff cookie dough and a bread dough, and so far it seems very sturdy and well made. The sweeping arm doesn’t show signs of wanting to pop apart, and the grip is both comfortable and responsive.

This scoop is the correct size to make cupcakes.One scoop per cupcake. This is true for the recipe I used anyway. This gave me even rise and even baking time.Wish I had bought this sooner. I figured out how many grams of batter I needed then looked for a scoop that fit.
