I tested this product to see if it would work for our new place and the door doesn’t budge. Comes with instructions clear and easy. Has some weight to it. I didn’t expect a 10$ product to be as great as this!

Ouch! Metal bar could be longer
I recently purchased this because I was staying in a hotel. The only issue I had with this is when you latch it into the hole the metal part is not long enough for you not to hurt your fingers When trying to close the door. I had to try several times For the latch to stay put as I was trying to close the door. Overall Item is very sturdy and it did the job For security.

Exactly what I needed
I get really bad anxiety some nights living alone and always fear the worst as thatâs what anxiety likes us to do. I have seen this product all over the internet and I finally caved and honestly Iâm really glad i bought it. It was very easy to use, and even has two options on the metal plate for different types of door latches. I was worried at first because when I took it out of the box and first tried it my door didnât shut all the way but then I just flipped the red lock around to the other side and the other hole worked perfectly. I even pulled the door pretty hard when it was unlocked and it didnât budge at all. I wouldnât fully rely on this as your ONLY form of protection for your house but it is definitely a great additive for security.

Good overly. Does what it says. I was considering 4 stars due to the awkwardness of setup but it’s not difficult. It just isn’t something I can setup in a rush as you’ve got to hold the plate and keep it straight. After that your good to go.

I tried this at home and it worked great. However, it is not universal, as it did not work at my hotel. My hotel room door had a different shaped lock/deadbolt and I was unable to use it. Worked great at home though!

Didnât fit correctly in my apt door or hotel room door. But that could have been my improper use of it. All in all, it did itâs job and I definitely felt safe using it.
