Its not super easy in my opinion to clean, but if you take 5 minutes every week to do it then you can do it properly. This is great for sports or going to the gym, and holds a good amount of water.

Great water bottle but noisy
This is a great water bottle and I love it how it looks everything but one annoying thing is if you drink with out using the straw the seal makes a noise that I can only describe ad a turkey call lol pretty annoying but it’s a great water bottle besides that

My Favorite Water Bottle
There isn’t anything about this water bottle that I don’t like: it is by far my favorite–and I’ve been accused of having a water bottle collecting “problem” because I hate disposable water bottles and am always searching for reusable bottles that have all the functionality that I need. This one may put an end to my search. It doesn’t leak, even when being used on rough terrain, upside down or sideways. The cloth strap is nice and long and a softer fabric so that it can be hooked over your wrist or a stroller handle, etc. The design of the straw is ingenious so that it easily pushes down into the bottle to close and seal, and it pops up when opened–no need to do anything but put a bit of pressure on front button (unlocking it first if you’ve got the tab locked to keep it from accidentally getting bumped open, and even that is a super easy, one-finger design to operate). And one more detail that I love and that I don’t see in the description except for a picture: there is what seems to be a screen or kind of sieve to place down inside of the water bottle so that if you have fruit, for example, in your water, you can get a drink without all of the fruit pouring into your mouth. The screen is used without the straw, but it is such a cool feature, and I love being able to drink strawberries or other fruit in my water without it all dumping into my face when I tip the bottle up or plugging up my straw–such a great idea. (The pictures show the screen.) This is a really great deal for the price and the design details. If you like reusable water bottles, you will definitely love this one.

Lid gasket leaks.
The lid gasket keeps falling out no matter which way I press it into place. It keeps leaking. Ruined everything in my backpack, more than once!
