My Kids Like It, The Brush Head Cover is A Bonus
I got the Ortho Standard 33 for my kids because they have trouble properly cleaning around their brackets, I was hoping these would help due to the design of them.I canât speak from personal experience using them because I donât have braces but my kids like them. They said that theyâre soft and help to clean their teeth better with having braces. They also mentioned that itâs comfortable to hold.I like the clear design but would prefer colored bristles to easily identify household toothbrushes.The cover for the toothbrush head is great to have!Iâd say that they work as described and worth giving a try to help better brush teeth while having braces.

The size is perfect for proper brushing. However, the fibers of the brush are very hard and if you are one of those who have sensitive gums or braces, I do not recommend it.

My son has braces and these brushes are good for cleaning his teeth.He feels that because of the cut on the bristles they are softer on the brackets cleaning around them.The brush is smaller than a normal one. Lightweight and sturdy.It lasts a little less than the normal ones, but i think that’s normal.Good but not as super mega superior to the normal ones. So, i would reorder if i can have them in a similar price to the ones i always buy for him.

Orthodontic toothbrush goes around brackets!
9 year old son got braces a few months back and has been on a journey of trying different toothbrushes and flossers that help keep his teeth and braces clean. Bonus points for being able to effectively use on his own without mom or dad. This brush brushes the front of his teeth fairly well but surprisingly still struggles the clean the top and bottom of the bracket where the food tends to âsettleâ after he eats. Itâs also a little less soft than his orthodontist recommended so Iâm worried he will brush too hard. Therefore I have to keep helping him and I still have to work hard to get food out from under his brackets. So while this toothbrush does effectively get his teeth clean, itâs not quite the magic we were hoping it would be. Will use until itâs âdoneâ and then continue our search for a magical orthodontic toothbrush for kids.

Good brushes
My daughter doesn’t have braces, but she has an attached retainer, and this brush does seem to work to get any particles out. She says the bristles feel good on her teeth and gums and that she prefers this brush to her previous brushes. Recommended.
