Wheres the Charger?!?!?!?!?!!?
I’m normally not one to complain but I did not receive a charger with my purchase. I would understand if it was advertised to not come with one but at least I would have had the knowledge to purchase one else ware with my order. I currently do not have time now to go to any of my local stores and I begin a new job tomorrow which basically screws me over big time. EXTREMELY MISLEADING and VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Excellent performance
Pros:The specifications of the notebook are as described by the vendor: Dell laptop 15.6â FHD LED-Backlit display Intel Core i7 8550u, 16 Gb RamDDR4, 128 Gb SSD, 1 Tb HDD, DVD-RW.and although it did not say so in the specifications, it has a fingerprint reader and the screen is anti-glareCons:1. The laptop is misadjusted on the DVD compartment.2. The box shows incorrect information: it specifies that the processor is Core i7 8850u, when in fact it is 8550u3. The last minute of charging to hace battery full takes about 10 minutes.

it’s a pretty great laptop
Really, it’s a pretty great laptop, possibly worth another half star. Equipped as advertised. Plenty fast. Dinged one star for the following:1) Enough bloatware to stun an ox2) I don’t understand why vendors don’t automatically setup the second drive for default data (docs, music, video, photos etc) in the ssd os/big hdd configurations. It should be automatic. So I spent about two hours getting this into a sensible state from the UX side. But yeah, the spec/value ratio is really great on this.

Gets me through school
Really good laptop. A little heavy and could use some more hdmi ports. Would buy again and hand the one I own off to a cousin. One annoying thing about it is how Microsoft insists on using it’s OneDrive and C Drive for all of it’s installations. I usually have memory issues if I don’t coordinate the placement of apps into the D Drive.

Buyer beware! Modified memory is not covered by DELL
This computer is crap (my 5 yr old HP was faster), but I figured I’d live with it. Then one of the DIMM cards (the RAM memory card) went bad. Computer wouldn’t boot, so I ran diagnostics and it said 8GB DIMM card was bad. So I contacted DELL and after hours and hours with their inept India technical support, they sent me a new DIMM card. HOWEVER, it was only 4GB, not 8GB. When I finally got hold of DELL again, they said it was shipped with 4GB, so they were not responsible to replace it with an 8GB, only a 4GB.Apparently Snow Bell had upgraded the memory, and sold it to Amazon. I’m trying to get Snow Bell to replace the 8GB DIMM card (update: snow bell credited my account enough for me to purchase a new DIMM).Bottom line, these have been modified. DELL is horrible enough to deal with, but having a 3rd party involved makes it impossible. The good news is that Snow Bell did replace the bad DIMM.

Beware! Vendor selling USED merchandise
My daughter bought this computer for her first year at college with graduation money. Two months in and the mother board is bad! After calling Dell to see what warranty is available, I am told that my one year warranty had just expired! This information was retrieved by Dell based on the computerâs ID#. No doubt this computer is used (not to mention useless)!! Avoid this seller!!
