Fun to build, well designed, extra pieces?
After a visit to Legoland, I was inspired to build this with my son, whoâs 9 with special needs. He lost interest right away till it was done, but I enjoyed putting it together.I used to play with Legos a lot when I was a kid, and Iâm a bit skeptical about single purpose ânon canonicalâ pieces for kits; I liked to build and tear apart and rebuild. Once this is together, youâd be hard pressed to use the pieces for anything else, about 1/3 of them are specific to this model. That said I was impressed with the engineering that went in to a model this scale that looks so good and assembles so easily, and wasnât absurdly expensive. An hour of build value for me, then play value for him.The only difficulty for me was that there were pieces left over. I was really careful with the instructions, and Iâm sure there was nothing missing, but there was a small pile of extra pieces at the end! (Pictured). As I said, I havenât built a Lego packaged model in years, if ever, but extra pieces just doesnât seem right, even if theyâre little ones that might get lost. Shrug – Iâll keep them around.All in all good value for the money.

A great Lego set for 6 – 8 year olds
The current crop of Speed Champion sets are cleverly designed. They’re big enough to accommodate two small figures (vs the old sets that really only fit one figure) and the shapes look more realistic than lego models of old. Part of this is done by the use of all-in-one cockpit window pieces, which is fine.However, this set stands above the others – it’s even better. What really surprised me about this set was the clever way in which the Countach’s original curves and scoops were incorporated. It’s just clever build! My only complaint was that the build was over too soon. I think I’ve built all the current Speed Champion sets, of which this set and the Ferrari 512 M stand out, although they’re all good – and great gifts for the 6 – 8 year olds in your life!

Very nice looking and pretty easy to assemble. Iâve spent around 2 hours slowly assembling it and binging a show in the background.

This is a fun build if you like to build cars. It was my first Lamborghini in my ever-growing Speed collection. Looks great next all of the other cars. All of the pieces were there and it was a good value for the price. Looks like the real car, good replica.

This is a sweet little set for the price and it was really fun to build. The detail is really nice for Lego. No missing pieces and an appropriate age range on the box. I’m glad logo is going towards for ault themes it’s really entertaining.
