The drapes are sheer enough to let the natural light in, but opaque enough to allow for privacy. Appear to be well made, but only time will tell. They match my wall perfectly.

Beautiful texture
I just have to say, these are beautiful! I bought a set for our bedroom and they are so nice, I bought a second set for my office. The texture is awesome, sheer, but not in a way that anyone could see details in your room. They are not flimsy and delicate like most sheer type curtains are, they have some “meat” to them. They are well made and come out of the wash looking great. They allow some natural light in. The grommets make for easy hanging. If you’re looking for a lightweight, casual type curtain, these are it â¤ï¸

These are gorgeous. They let the natural light in while providing a little more privacy when you want both. If you really want the best of all the worlds, search for double curtain rods on amazon. You have one rod for the transparent curtain, and an outer rod for thicker black-out/temperature controlling curtains, and then you can use both at the same time, or one at a time. Game changer.

The material is thicker than I expected for sheer curtains, which gives them a nice, elegant feel. During the day, they let in plenty of light, making my space feel bright and airy. These curtains are a lovely shade of yellow. Sheer enough to let in plenty of light, but provide some sense of not having my house just completely open to the street. The grommets are metal and not too bulky– some cheap curtains have gross clunky plastic grommets, and these are thankfully not that.
