Eufy is an excellent camera system
Likes….. Easy to program and install. The camera optics and clarity are very good. The sensitivity of the motion detection is top notch. Example, a car driving too slowly past my home, will activate the motion sensors.I also enjoy the fact that through the Eufy app you install on your phone, you can readily view any notification sent by your system or go ” live ” and actually talk through each camera…..My neighbor across the street likes that I have installed the cameras, because I can also see the front of her home … During the recent floods here in Houston, TX. I was able to see through my cameras that water was backing up close to the front door of her home, due to a clogged drain, she was able to leave work and take care of that before water seeped into her home. The ” Home Base ” system I have, will allow me to install up to 16 cameras if needed. Each camera has a long battery life, clear picture night or day.NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED, like other brand name systems.

Great Security Package
I have to be honest with you. I do not understand some of these negative reviews. There were so many recent ones clustered together that it almost prevented me from ordering the system. But then I said how bad could it be? And if itâs not bad Iâll just return it.It probably arrive 24 hours after I ordered it and it took me an entire 25 minutes to download the app set up the system and get the cameras online. Mounting was a breeze. I agree with some of the reviews in which a magnetic mounting system might be better. But for what Iâm using it for it works just fine. I donât look forward to having to get a step ladder out to charge them every time they need to be charged. But what are you gonna do.As far as performance. They function exactly how advertised. For me, the quality is good enough. The app functions fine. The night vision in motion sensors work fine for me. And the spotlight really helps to enhance nighttime vision. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. I did shut down some of the alerts because it got a little annoying. But you can also customize a specific setting that works for you. And that would be for all of your cameras. As far as battery charge, itâs a little too soon for me to comment on and maybe Iâll update my review down the road. The cameras have only been on the house for about two weeks now.But really, if youâre looking for a security system for your home, I would recommend this one for sure for ease-of-use, easy set up, and overall functionality. For some of those negative reviews, for what you were looking for, you need to be shopping in a much higher price point than this. You were looking for commercial quality security cameras. And they cost thousands of dollars, not under 200.

Easy to install
Great picture. Easy to connect to my system. Sensitivity is easily adjusted to eliminate non-human activity like leaves blowing about, etc.

Excellent wireless camera for decent price
I started with the Eufy homebase and original doorbell camera. The problem with the doorbell camera is I couldnât see packages that were delivered right at my front door because the angle didnât show straight down. So then I purchased the new Eufy doorbell cam that has the downward camera, but the problem with that is it still didnât show all of the angles right at the base of the door so I returned that. The solution I came up with was adding one of these Eufy wireless cameras and angling it down so it showed my front patio and itâs working perfect. I just ordered another one on Prime day for my dogs crate so that I can keep an ion him when I am not home. The battery life is great. Iâve had the one camera installed by front door for a few months, I just got the one I put on my dog crate, and Iâve had the doorbell camera about 2 years. I would say the doorbell camera battery isnât as good as when I first got it but itâs still good. Itâs not hard to plug the cameras in to charge them so no big deal. The picture quality is fabulous for the price. The motion detection works great too! For the price, you canât beat these Eufy cameras. I donât do reviews as much as I should since I rely on them so heavily but Iâm really happy with these Eufy products so wanted to get a review done.

Functional, no clouds account required
I purchased this as an addition camera for my existing Homebase-2 system. Integration into the existing system was very easy. Battery life is very good. Eufy claims 180 days between charges but I recharge long before, usually around 120 days. Battery life in harsh cold weather is significantly less, but that is to be expected. I like that no cloud account is required and that the homebase has its own built-in memory. Resolution of this camera is adequate. Night vision is acceptable, and I prefer it to switching on the light. Sometimes the “human” detection decides deer are human and that triggers motion detection. Range of the motion sensors seem to max out at 30 feet, I wish that was better as it means someone gets much closer than I want them to be before the camera starts recording. A star off for that.
