Do not have glass, they have thin plexiglass…
We are hanging pictures after our move and found that some of frames really got beat up over time. So we wanted a matching set for a particular group of pictures and I needed 8 inch by 10 inch frames, so I ordered the Warndeliem Set of Five 8×10/5×7 Bamboo Frames. To start, I love bamboo anything because it is beautiful and sustainable. I have many bamboo items in the house, so it was a no brainer to order picture frames made out of bamboo.Out of the box you receive five picture frames. The frames look like bamboo and seem well made. They are attractive and smooth to the touch. I chose the walnut stain and the 8×10 size, which can be 5×7, if you use the included white mats. The ability to get a 2-in-1 frame size is a great feature, and in one of the pictures we did use the mat.The hooks on the back of the frames are of mixed quality; two frames have sturdy, well-made hooks, while the other three have cheaper ones, which is a bummer, because I would have rather had the nicer ones. However, all five frames have multidirectional hangers allow them to be displayed horizontally or vertically. There are six sturdy clips on the back of each frame to securely hold the picture in place, which is a step up from the usual pull up, push down piece of metal that normally breaks after a few uses. Unfortunately, the frames come with plastic plexiglass instead of real glass, which I do not care for at all. The plexiglass is very thin, but is covered with a protective film on both sides to avoid scratches during shipment. Even so, where I could, I replaced the plexiglass with glass from my old frames.Overall, for the price, I believe the Warndeliem Set of Five 8×10/5×7 Bamboo Frames are a good buy. They are attractive, lightweight, can be used horizontally or vertically, and are made of a sustainable wood. Plus, you can use them for 8×10 or 5×7 pictures, which is a really nice touch. Four stars because of the plexiglass and the three with the not so nice hangers.

I love these picture frames
What I love about these picture frames is first the color of the frame. The others are either too dark or too light. The Dual directional design is also a plus. And it can be hanged on a wall or put on my desk. The fact that the surface is not glass is just great. I have ordered many other frames and they all came broken. I highly recommend these

Uses plexiglass instead of glass
You should know that these frames don’t use glass, but plexiglass. It comes with a protective film on both sides that you peel off. Also, if you were to use these for tabletop photos, I don’t think the stands will last long. They are flimsy and just tacked on with a piece of ribbon to keep them from moving out too far. Also, they have tabs that you have to bend out to remove the backing, then bend back in place after you’ve put your picture in there. Over time, if you change out your pictures very often, these break.What I do like about the frames is that they were economical, the frames seem sturdy enough for something that won’t see a lot of use (once they are on the wall), and the hooks seem good.Would I buy them again? I’m not sure. The back tabs are kind of a killer for me, and I hadn’t read other reviews when I bought them. I don’t think there were any other reviews at that time. As for the plexiglass, I’m fine with that. Yes, it scratches easily, but once these are on my wall, I don’t anticipate taking them down very often.

Picture Frames That Miss the Mark
I’m not impressed with these picture frames. While they look decent from a distance, up close, the wood seems fake, and the white cardstock mat is uneven or damaged. They’re problematic for small spaces where details are noticeable. Changing pictures is tricky due to the metal pegs, which are uncomfortable to handle. Plus, the frames aren’t renter or dorm-friendly because the backing doesn’t stick to Command Strips, causing them to fall off the wall frequently. Overall, they’re more hassle than they’re worth.
