Great camera and features with solar panel for trickle charging.
Box included everything for installation/mounting and users manual on setting up the camera, connecting it to your router for 2.4ghz. Battery came almost fully charged and was plugged into a wall USB charger to fully charge the battery before mounting outside. Signal strength read from medium to strong for outside use and this was at the opposite end of the house where the router is (basement). Changed the motion detection to low to avoid over detection, mounted the solar panel along the front outside of porch on the driveway side and the camera mounted to the back porch column for less obvious visibility. This covers the driveway, part of the front yard and the road off the driveway. It does pick up vehicles on the road off the driveway but I am not concerned about the frequent notifications. Always good to see what vehicles are constantly going up and down the street just as a precaution if someone were casing the house. The application seems to work fairly well. The options are easy to navigate and adjust settings. Unit seems to be solidly built. The video quality is outstanding and the night vision (using infrared mode only at this time) is clear and distinct. The cable for the solar panel is plenty long I believe 10 feet and is charging the battery just fine. The cable connects to the underside of the camera unit after moving the rubber covering away from the bottom to expose the charging port, micro sd card, and power button. I am concerned about moisture getting into the unit from hard, blowing rains. Kind of wish the charging port was a separate rubber plug hinge to allow the solar cable to plug directly into the underside of the camera without having to move the rubber covering exposing the other components thus making it a more complete seal. I chose the mounting bracket over the magnetic base. The solar panel and camera were mounted to the end of the porch on the porch columns. Anyone who has stopped in the driveway has not even noticed it. Very pleased with the unit which monitors the driveway and street and will be looking to get another one to monitor the front porch/door and one for the back of the house.

Very easy to install and good price
I bought these cameras to go on the sides of my house. I originally installed them high enough that they looked OK and would not be easy for someone to remove; however, I ended up lowering them to what the instructions say is optimal, about 5-7′. The quality of video was not good and I got more false positives at the higher level. I do NOT like the way they look now being positioned about halfway up the side of my house, but I am now happy with the quality of the videos. Day vision is perfect. Night vision is good on the sides where I have a porch or driveway light and the color is nice to have at night, also. On the side where I have no light, however, I do not find the camera very useful. Even adjusting the white light setting makes the area barely visible, so I have now ordered some solar motion detection lights to add to that side with the hope that they will solve my problem. So, the things that I like about these are: very easy to install and add cameras to the DZEE app on my phone, once fully charged the solar panels have plenty of power, color night vision is great, I like being able to view the live cam when my dog barks as it gives me peace of mind, reasonable price. What I don’t like: the 5-7′ positioning needed for the best functionality, the fact that I need to add more light for them to be useful at night, false positives. I am still in the process of playing with settings, so I may be able to improve the false positives to some extent. I have had to change the motion detection to low on all cameras to avoid them being triggered by the movement of trees. In my driveway I am able to tell it which vehicles are known; however, the camera constantly tells me that my vehicles are going are coming when they are, in fact, parked in my carport. Before I adjusted my motion detection settings, I was also getting alerts of a person being detected only to find out the camera was seeing a tree stump or some other inanimate object. All in all, I am happy with these cameras given the affordability and the fact that they work on solar and I did not have to have an electrician wire anything. One last thing to be aware of is that, while you can add an SD card and not have to pay for cloud service, you will lose the ability to use certain features. The cloud service is reasonable and, in the event someone should remove your camera, you will still have video saved to the cloud.

Not even complete 6 month of working and now it is totally dead

The dzees cg6 wireless camera with solar panel is a great way to get home security on the cheaper side you the ease of subscription or nor both work well with sd card. Has good night vision and detects motion/movement whether it is a pet or a person and records in hd using the solar panel means its been 2 months without having to take it down for charging as it charges as needed through the solar panel so it’s a set and forget thing.
