Gorgeous frame
I bought this to frame two artwork I got from Easter Island. It looks beautiful. The frame/glass itself is extremely sturdyâ¦I accidentally dropped it once from about 5 feet while I was trying to hang it up and nothing broke. I honestly couldnât believe it.As a few other reviewers noted, the two glasses arenât super tightly pressed together so my artwork did slip slightly out of position. I had to tape the back to the glass to keep it in place. This wasnât a big deal for me since I have it hanging on the wall but if you wanted to display both sides, it might not work as well.

Good quality, minor tweaks needed
As a floral preservation artist, it has been hard to find high quality floating frames to display pressed flowers. I came across these frames and love them. They have one pane of glass and one sheet of plexiglass. I like the plexiglass because it allows minimal bending which is needed when putting pressed florals into a frame. If it was all glass, I would run the risk of it shattering due to high tension. I have run across one minor issue only with the black 8×10 frames. Some of them are shipped with a warped tab. The tab is how the frame clicks together on the back and when it is warped, the frame is unable to be closed securely. I was able to use strong glue to reinforce it, so it wasnât a big issue. Overall, itâs a good product that I will purchase more of.

Solid frame, much better than others
I bought 6 frames, all arrived without damage, which has been an issue with other frames I’ve purchased on Amazon. One did have some glue-like substance I had to clean off, and a few have a small amount of glue that bled from the bottom edge where the glass is attached, which I will try to remove later.Framing floating items isn’t simple, but the system in these frames made it fairly easy. Looks very nice on the wall.

Product Title Inaccurate
I have several other floating frames for posters that are 100% glass. However, when I went to purchase that brand again, Amazon no longer had them. So I searched for others and came up with this one.I know that the description said it but the “real glass” is only on the front of the frame. The second pane of glass is actually plexiglass. I would not recommend using this floating frame if you are putting in dried flowers or the like. Also, the edge for hanging is flimsy so I don’t have a lot of confidence that this frame will hold up for a long time.

Itâs a nice frame. The hanging components are cheap and the backing to take the glass out is also made cheap. As this is a gift I was disappointed with that fact as I could have just gone to the dollar store and got something similar for the fraction of the price. Value for $: one star

If your goal is to frame a two-sided (flat) piece, this frame is excellent. It’s well made (e.g. all corners are crisp and all the pieces fit together well, nothing is janky) and has a low-key and simple elegance. I’m so happy with this purchase, it is just what I needed for a special piece of art.

I had a few pressed flowers I was looking to frame. I’ve framed flowers in the past without having to use glue or tape. I found that the flowers were sliding around in the frame after putting the frame up. Still really pretty though! Just may require some tape
