Work great
I have had these in our bedroom for months now and love them. They do a great job blocking the sun and seem durable. They were easy to install and looks great. Just purchased some more for another room in my house.

Worth the money and easy to install and use
Love my new black out roller. Couldn’t believe how easy it was to install and how soft the movement of the shade is. It totally is worth the money and blocks out the sun. Love it.

Blackout shade bought for front door
I bought the blackout shade for the front door because the evening sun streams into our house and itâs blinding and hot. Oh what a difference! This was such a great purchase! It screwed right into the door, no pre-drilling necessary. In fact I did it myself and Iâm not super handy. It was easy to line up the brackets, and since the brackets clip into a track, there is a lot of forgiveness with mounting. The look is sleek and clean and it has a nice, steady retract/rollup.

Gap allows light in if you do an outside-mount.
This review is for the opaque shade, not the light-filtering one.The window size is 46″ x 46″. I purchased the 51″ for an outside-mount thinking the extra fabric on the sides would block out the light. It doesn’t.FYI that an outside-mount changes the orientation of the shade: the roller is more in the front vs an inside-mount where the roller hangs downward, therefore, the pulldown is flush with the window. The wall brackets to which the brace snaps onto is ~1/2″. Add to that the thickness of the brace and the thickness of the rolled fabric creates an almost 1.25″ gap from fabric and the window frame allowing the light in on the sides. (See photos)It does block off majority of the light to darken the room comfortably which is helpful during hot afternoons; it’s much cooler in the room. The rollers are smooth and it is easy to pull the shade down or retract it back up.It provides privacy. The thickness of the fabric is thick enough to not be able to see out or see in. I’ve read another review about the fraying. The edges of the fabric are not “finished” which could probably cause this. I will update this review after a few months of use.Installation is pretty straightforward. I was able to install this by myself. If you are installing a longer length, you might need another person to help you because it does have a good weight to it.Overall, I like this product. It is within my budget and serves it purpose. I will be buying more for the rest of our windows.

Works well, easy to install, affordable.
4.5 â’sI can’t say anything that others haven’t already said: the mechanism works well, the blind is true blackout, no plastic-y smell…It was easy to install …I put mine inside the window frame and was able to get it flush with the window.Loses half a star for the lousy instructions in the package and on this page, from the manufacturer. It would be a BIG help to put an arrow or some symbol to indicate which side of the bracket faces the window ðª and which faces you.FYI, you want the side who’s end is a narrow rectangular plastic button . This will face you. The other side, which is a bit “taller” and has the PLASTIC hook faces the window.I think you could hang it the opposite way but it would be harder to remove the blind and you may not be able to mount it flush to your window. As others noted, I just used one screw per side, in the middle hole. I was hanging it into thick pine framing and this was very solid.

Perfect!
The sun sets in these windows and heats up our living room from 3-7pm. These blinds fit perfectly, block out the blinding light if we watch TV, and block out the heat! Iâm really happy with them. They gently pull down and stay wherever you want them. To raise up, give two gentle tugs on the handle and they roll up slowly on their own. When theyâre up, theyâre really low profile. You can hardly tell theyâre there. If youâre considering these, just get them! Theyâre great!

Great black out blind. Purchased for bedroom and it looks great, good quality. Customized the size of the blind to fit window and order came quickly, very satisfied.

I was expecting a low grade roller shade but was happily surprised how great the quality of these are. Very easy to install with the four screws that were provided. A strong metal bar at the top keeps them well secured and they have a handle for raising or lowering. Blackout and 100% private but easy roll up daylight. I would buy these again if I ever need more! P.S. Contrary to a review I have no problem with lowering halfway. These work great!
