Easy to install. Moderate anti-glare effect.
The installation instructions on the package are confusing, but there are videos that help a lot. Search YouTube for “nupro anti glare screen protector for amazon fire hd 7” and pick one that’s less than 2 years old. (The instructions for the HD 7 are exactly the same as for my HD 8.)The anti-glare effect is not as effective as I would have liked, but it’s definitely an improvement.

Got this for my daughterâs table, so weâll see if it holds up. Application was just like any other screen saver of this kind. I only wish it came with wet wipes to wipe the screen down. Also, the sticker that comes with it to get dust off is way too sticky and left a residue, so I had to clean the screen off again.

Excellent reduction in glare!
This matte screen protector is great. I have an Android system 8 inch tablet and this screen fit just fine. I trimmed 3/8â off the side and ,since itâs plastic not glass, it was easy. My photo shows you the top of my tablet where you can clearly see a difference between my glass screen and the matte reflections. This matte screen cuts the reflection down considerably. Iâd say maybe 50-60% overall. It is a welcome relief to eye strain. It, also, doesnât impede the original touch screen. I recommend it.

Did not install well
As a screen protector, it seems to do its job just fine. But, when I installed it, about 2″ of one edge just would not adhere to the screen, and there were many small bubbles in the last couple of inches, which, when I tried to gently lift the edge and replace, got worse. Trying to smooth them with the included tool did not work, and applying more pressure resulted in multiple fine scratches to the protector. No, this is not the first screen protector I’ve ever put on, but it is the worst result I’ve gotten. Considered removing it and using the second one in the package, but with no assurance that the results would be better, decided to just live with the bubbles and scratches. A little annoying, since it’s a brand new tablet.

You have to be really patient and careful while installing the screen. The steps on the box are easy enough to follow. Just take time and do it carefully.I got it right the first time.For the price, the quality of the cleaning and the application items that comes in the box is sub par but its usable.The glare has gone down significantly as I use this tablet only for reading and itâs very useful for that purpose. Fits the screen perfectly.
