Great Camera Quality, Customizable Notifications, Easy to Install
I debated for a long time about which door camera to get, and after reading a ton of reviews, I decided on this Ring Doorbell Camera. I wanted the Head-To-Toe one so I could see the ground for packages. It not only comes with super easy set-up instructions, but it also comes with a AA battery and charging station. ALSO WORKS WITH ALEXA. When someone rings the doorbell Alexa will notify you.Box: In the box is the camera, instructions for set-up and how to add your device to the mobile Ring App. It also comes with an extra battery for charging the camera, extra screws, and a wedge to lower the angle of the camera (it can tilt down or to the side depending on your space).Mobile App: The mobile Ring app is user friendly and easy to navigate. You can see all of your doorbell history free for 30 days (after that, it is $4.99 a month for the basic subscription). It is CHEAPER to pay for a year than to pay monthly. I chose the basic subscription because I only have one device and opted out of needing certain features (which is a personal choice). The layout of the app is clear and easy to understand and you can change the language.Camera/SoundQuality: The camera quality is excellent. It’s very clear even at night. Camera quality is one of the first things to look for when deciding on a camera and I have ZERO complaints so far. The video quality is just as good as pictures and when talking to someone, the sound is clear and easy to understand.I love being able to talk to people at the door from the app.Overall, I LOVE this camera. Idk why I waited this long to get it. 10/10 Recommend!!

Great battery life/user friendly app
We love our ring. The app is easy to use and replacing the battery on the ring is also simple to do. Weâve had ours for about a year and it still works just fine. You can adjust the motion sensitivity and even the area specifically you want the motion alert to be set for. The wide view is nice if you have a long porch or area that needs a wider view. No lag unless you have a camera too far away from the WiFi signal. We have one at our garage that we bought an extender for and it doesnât lag anymore.

Good monitor
I installed a ring peephole camera in previous home, so the setup with this was a snap (pun intended). Hardest part was not dropping those tiny little screws on the cover. Images are clear.The peephole cam was spotty, missed alot of motion activity, strangely.Seems to be a delay motion detection, the assigned tone didn’t sound. Still good for checking the weather from bed ð…

Expensive but nice features and battery life
I use Ring for all my home automation security. The doorbells with replacement batteries are the best option. I have a couple extra ones that I keep charged and can swap out easily when needed. The battery lasts a long time and the video quality is good.

Works great
I bought this mainly to use as help for my airbnb guests. It’s happened before where people locked themselves out because they left their phones inside, so now they can just press the button and I can give them their code to get back in their door. Also it lets me know when people arrive and people leave. App is simple to use. I prefer Ring over Nest (which I have used for the last 10 years but has been taken over by Google so it’s become more complicated and annoying). I’m going to be replacing all my old cameras with Ring as the old ones stop working.

The ring units are great quality, sadly you got to to pay a yearly fee to be able to record or playback any footage.Also there is a delay in getting a response that someone is at the door, due to WiFi and Mobil phone connections, so you will miss talking to the person who has come to your front door. They would have left as you get the alert , which could be upto 30 seconds or so later.

The video doorbell at my front door, has been and fantastic addition to my home. Very sensitive, and nothing escapes detection at my door and close proximity. Very clear videos, even at night. Even when I’m away from home shopping etc., the doorbell alerts me of any movement at my door. I can also talk to people at my door, when I’m away from home. All in all, a must for home security.Since writing this review, the free recording of data has expired, and I’m now required to pay an annual subscription to keep the recording going. After paying good money for this item, I consider it an insult to have to pay more to use this item. Frankly I’m sorry I purchased this item now, and consider it a piece of worthless junk.

This door bell offers a system that not only is wireless but so easy to set up. The app is easy to use, the quality of the image superior to many others. Having the ability to restrict the area that detects movement and sends alerts while still having a wide surveillance area is a bonus
