• Clock Generator: A timer IC like the LM555 generates clock pulses that drive the counter.
• Counting ICs: Two CD4033 decade counters are used. Each IC counts from 0 to 9 and drives a 7-segment display.
• Cascading: The first CD4033 handles the units place, and its overflow signal advances the second CD4033, which manages the tens place.
• Digit Display: Two common cathode 7-segment for digit display
