The magnetic sensor works at 1000Hz, uses 1.5µA of power, and is made for small battery devices in medical, home, or industrial use.

Coto Technology has introduced the RedRock RR133-1E83-511 magnetic sensor, designed for demanding magnetic sensing tasks such as rotation counting and proximity detection. This TMR-based sensor offers a sensing frequency of 1000Hz while consuming just 1.5µA of power. It’s built for use in medical, industrial, and consumer products—especially battery-powered devices like wearable medical tools, flow meters, and utility meters—where low power and high-frequency sensing are essential.
Highlights of the RR133-1E83-511 magnetic sensor:

- Ultra-low power use: Consumes just 1.5µA on average, making it the lowest power 1000Hz magnetic sensor available.
- Broad voltage support: Operates within a 2.4V to 5.5V range, ideal for battery-powered systems.
- High-frequency sensing: Accurately detects magnetic fields up to 1000Hz.
- High sensitivity: Responds to magnetic fields as low as 14 gauss, allowing for smaller, more affordable magnets.
- Wide temperature range: Functions reliably in environments up to 125°C.
The magnetic sensor is suitable for engineers and designers developing compact, battery-powered devices that require reliable and efficient magnetic sensing. Target users include medical device manufacturers creating wearable or implantable health monitors, industrial designers building flow meters or position sensors for high-temperature environments, and consumer electronics developers working on fitness trackers or smart devices. It also serves utility meter manufacturers and IoT developers who need low-power, high-frequency magnetic detection in space-constrained applications.
