Good as a skincare fridge-perfect temps.
For those who use clay masks and face masks or something of the sort, you know that having it cool just adds to the enjoyment of the experience. I keep a lot of skincare in my regular fridge and it’s a bit of a pain to lose regular fridge space because you need a shelf for oils and what not. I store a lot of my carrier oils in the fridge, along with aloe vera gel etc. I thought having a skincare fridge that I could keep in my room would be much more convenient and give me back my kitchen fridge space.This mini cooler, I say cooler because the product description and the included manual also clearly state that this is not a true refrigerator, keeps items at a range of 43F to 59F. Clearly not meant to keep perishable and temp sensitive foods so please note that and keep that in mind. This is literally best for beverages or skincare.This cooler is easy to set up and you just plug in the cord to the cooler and than into the wall, it states it is best not to use an extension cord as well, and then put the switch on the back to on. Right away you hear it turn on and it is honestly not that loud at all. If you are used to absolute silence than anything will seem loud but I have this about 4 feet from my bed by the window and it is like very light white noise if that. It didn’t bother me at all and I was able to fall asleep just fine with this by my bed.The size is small enough that it is not obtrusive and it will fit on most shelves or nightstands or chest of drawers. I wouldn’t actually keep this in the bathroom though. I personally would prefer something a tad bigger because I have so many natural skincare products that are sensitive to heat and light so I would like to throw them all in there but it is limited to space. I just stuck some face masks, carrier oils, and cooling creams in and it was full.Overall pretty pleased with this personal cooler and if they make a slightly bigger one, I would definitely purchase that one.

Very small electric cooler for keeping cosmetics, lunch, or even medications cool and close at hand
This cooler is very small, but I was able to fill it with five cream jars, one perfume bottle, two tubes of ointment, and one injector of a medication, although the latter could only fit diagonally. It has a power switch within easy reach in the back and one shelf, which can be moved in or out, but its position cannot be changed. When the unit is working, it emits a low hum, which I did not find bothersome. The price seems very reasonable.The manufacturer states that the unit cools relative to the surrounding temperature. I therefore conducted two tests using a white thermometer inside the cooler and a black thermometer outside the cooler (see the photos):Test # 1: I left the cooler for 8 hours after which the outside temperature reading was 76F and the inside reading was 50F. The outside thermometer registered that at some point during the time of this test the room temperature reached 80F, so the maximum temperature difference between the inside and the outside of the cooler was 30F, which is close to the 32F difference mentioned in the seller’s description.Test # 2: I left the cooler for 6.5 hours, after which the temperature was 84F on the outside and 57F on the inside, Thus, the temperature difference was 27F.It is important to note that the durations (8 hours and 6.5 hours) I mention above only specify the time between the start and the end of the test. They do not measure how fast it took the cooler to reach the temperatures I found inside it.Thus, placed at a lower temperature of an air-conditioned room, the cooler may even achieve temperatures that are low enough for storing some temperature sensitive medications when it is important to have them nearby, but this would have to be tested more closely.In addition to the cooler’s obvious utility as a cool storage space for cosmetics, I could imagine using it at work as a lunch cooler instead of using a communal refrigerator.
